Just as the Smith family's car parked into a parking space, Danny, Rosie and James jumped out of the car and they ran up the steps to the door of Dogs Trust, followed by a tired Mr and Mrs Smith!
"Hi!" smiled a lady. "How can I help you?"
"We would like a dog please." Mr Smith replied.
"Just go through that door," said the lady. "There are lots of dogs on show!"
I think there is a family coming, thought Fluffie. Well, I mean, I can't be hopeful, can I?686Please respect copyright.PENANANCyf004q46
The kids seemed to be as excited as all the dogs put together, as they ran past all the cages (Author's Note - Oh my god! That sounds so bad!) of barking dogs, hoping to get chosen.
They seem excited, Fluffie thought with a grin. I might know how to get their attention.686Please respect copyright.PENANANMpN5PSWd2
He put his front legs onto the bars, moved them up, put his back legs on the bars and started to climb. Danny was tickling a Basset Hound's tummy when he saw Fluffie climbing the bars of his cage. His sister saw too, and nodded her head.686Please respect copyright.PENANALkKtLSKvgL
"Get James," Rosie said to Danny. "I'll try to get him down."
Danny and James went back to Fluffie's cage and found that Rosie had got Fluffie down from the bars. Fluffie waved. The kids went to tell their parents that they wanted to take him home.
