"Hey Noct, I said get up." Once again Gladio kept bothering me until he was sure I'd get up.
"Last I checked, I'm the crowned prince. I can get up on my o-ouch! Hey!"
"Just get up, we've gotta get moving." Took me a minute but I got up and began to step out of the tent, which was as bad of an idea as I had figured it would've been. I don't think a single human in the history of humans ever woke up happy to be smacked in the face by the sun.

"Prompto! Get up." I looked at my tent and watched Gladiolus drag Prompto out while he was still in his sleeping bag, we laughed a little looking over at Prompto as he squirmed out of his sleeping bag.
"Hey! What the heck?! I was sleeping, couldn't you give me a few more minutes?" Prompto got up groaning, instantly waking up when he saw Ignis set up to cook.
"Whoa. What do ya plan to make Iggy?"
"That depends on you Noct, when you finish waking up go catch us some breakfast. There's a fishing post over there." That's Iggy, always looking out for me. As quickly as he told me is as quickly as I cleaned up and ran over to the fishing post, everyone else followed behind me. We stood there for a few minutes, everyone watched as I held the fishing rod focusing on the water..soon I saw some splashing and then-
"Gah! Whoa! It's a big one!"
"Keep a grip on it Noct!"
"Don't let those scrawny arms fail you now!"
"You've got it Noctis!" Everyone cheered me on while I fought the fish, it was definitely a fighter that's for sure! Can't tell what it is at the moment but I'm gonna find out soon!
"Almost! Whoa!"
"Give it some slack!" I heard Gladiolus shout at me, I did what he told me. In my excitement I almost lost my common sense, once I did that the fish swam away a bit. The exhilaration during fishing never went away, I could zip around, fly, and fight any monster ever but every time I fish I feel like I'm fighting something just out of my power range. Something that no matter how hard I try to understand it, I can still lose to it in seconds because of a simple mistake.
"Woooo Noct! We got breakfast!" I managed to pull the fish out, needing both hands to do it. It felt embarrassing but screw it, not everyone is made of muscle like Gladio. The guys cheered me on and we went back to camp. Ignis got right to work except this time he asked me to help prepare the barramundi with him. He did the cutting and I just worked on veggies and stuff, cooking is definitely not for me but eating what Iggy made definitely was...minus the uhm vegetables..which instantly killed my vibe when I saw that he gave me a lot of them. I ate some of them, I mean Ignis put his work in for the food.
"How are they?"
"No better because I made them..eh." Once he turned his back and Gladio was distracted with stretches or whatever, I had to use my secret weapon.
"Yo..Prompto, help me out will ya??" Thankfully Prompto had my back and made the veggies disappear for me, in exchange...I had to be part of his photo shoot. Fair trade for me in the end. Now with our morning done we walked up the road from our campsite carrying our set up back to the Regalia. One of the last things I carried from my father, we loaded our gear and got in. Ignis took the wheel, Prompto took his seat beside him and I squeezed in the back with meat bag Gladio.
"One of these days I'm gonna have my space."
"When the day comes, enjoy it cause I won't let it be long." Ignis started the car up and it began, another one of our daily journeys, letting the Regalia carry us where she can and letting the roads take us wherever. I miss my father, Lunafreya, lots of people but I've got the guys with me and a prophecy to fulfill. Can't waver for a second, no matter how much it hurts me to remember it every second of every day.
"Ooo! Noct can we stop right there and take a group picture real quick, pleaaaase?"
"Huh? Sure. Ignis pull over a sec." Well one thing is for sure.
"Alright annnd scoot over so I can get the shot." I'll be fine, no matter what comes my way I'll be fine.
