The brunette nurse's soft fingertips had worked their magic on my wounded body, but the memory of what happened to me lingered.
When she finished treating my wounds, she glanced at me with her lovely amber eyes with worry. "There, I finished. Please let me know if you are hurt anywhere else"
To avoid causing her distress, I smiled and shook my head as a "no" while trying to keep my emotions.
The man who brought me here came inside the room to speak with the woman, leaving me alone in the room to collect my thoughts.
Tears started flowing down my cheeks, and I couldn't stop myself from sobbing. The weight of all that had transpired had now hit me like a ton of bricks. My thoughts raced with visions of my last moments with my family, the sound of their screams still echoing in my ears. I felt like I was drowning in a sea of pain and shame, suffocating! It seemed as if a piece of myself had been taken away, leaving me empty and hollow. By taking deep breaths, I attempted to relax, but that only made the pain worse. Every breath felt like a struggle, like if I were breathing into blades. I wanted to vanish, to burrow into a hole and never emerge. But I couldn't do it. I needed to keep moving, to keep living. It's for them!
I brushed my tears away and took a long breath to calm myself. But the discomfort refused to go away. It was a nagging pain, a reminder of what I had lost. I knew I'd never be the same after that.
When I heard the door handle turn, I hurriedly pretended that nothing had occurred.
"Dear, Could you please give me your parents' numbers?"
I didn't respond right away, clutching the sheet and taking a deep breath while attempting to hold back my emotions.
"M-my parents...they're not here.....I replied in a shaky voice as I bit my lower lip and averted my gaze, trying hard not to cry. The last thing I needed was someone to feel sorry for me...
"What exactly do you mean?" The brunette lady, I think her name was Enora, frowned.
"... T-they're no longer here..." I moaned as I fixed a death glare on them. I see now that I should not have lied to her. I don't have the energy to explain anything, and nobody would believe me if I did.
"I'm truly sorry..Could you tell me where you live at least?" she whispered, staring behind her with a melancholy voice. "We'll take you to your destination..."
I kept my mouth shut, toying with my fingers and biting my bottom lip. The brunette lady grimaced at me, as if she'd grasped what I was saying..."Well... I can't leave you alone; considering your situation, you can stay at my house while you heal."
I look at her, taken aback by what I've heard. My eyes welled up with grateful tears, and my heart surged with unexpected hope. It was the first time I had felt even a smidgeon of relief since being snatched from my home. The prospect of having a temporary haven exhausted me emotionally, and I found myself feeling extremely thankful to this nice stranger. I knew the path to recovery would be long and difficult, but for the first time in a long time, I felt like I might be able to heal. "Thank you so much," I said, my voice trembling but earnest. "I don't know what to say."

Confusion and disbelief flooded over me as I rubbed my chin. I couldn't help but look towards the nurse's house, puzzled by what I witnessed. It was a carbon copy of Harry's house. Every feature was the same, from the form and color to the windows placement. It seemed like I'd been teleported to his hometown, but that couldn't be accurate. Harry had never mentioned this location, and as far as I knew, he had no ties to Enora.
I felt a knot build in my gut as I attempted to make sense of the situation. Was this a curious coincidence, or was something more sinister at work?
The sound of the woman's voice jolted me out of my trance. "I hope you're comfortable here. Please feel free to make yourself at home."She chirped as she opened the door to invite me in.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing as I carefully approached the home. It seemed as though I had entered a parallel universe. Everything was identical to his house, including the furnishings, décor, and room arrangement. The same ancient sofa was leaning against the wall, the same paintings were on the walls, and the same grandfather clock ticked away in the corner. It was unsettling, and my heart was beating with a mix of terror and fascination.
As I went a few steps ahead, I detected a slight lavender aroma in the air, similar to Harry's place. It was then that I realized how much I had missed him, and the idea of him made my heart hurt.
But how could this possibly be his house? He'd never mentioned a nurse or this location before.
I attempted to ignore those thoughts as I bit my bottom lip, seeking to relax. I took in my surrounds, attempting to make sense of it all. It seemed like I was in a dream, but I knew it wasn't. I was standing in front of an actual house.
As I gazed at the house, despite the bizarre circumstances, I couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort and familiarity. It seemed like I was back in Harry's company, and for a short while, I forgot about everything else.
"Did you call me,mom?"
I turned my head to see who it was when I noticed an enigmatic boy approaching us. His eyes were a warm hazel color, like pools of liquid gold, and they sparkled with an intelligence that was both intriguing and intimidating. His hair was styled in a sloppy-yet-stylishly way, with messy waves that framed his face perfectly. As he drew closer, I couldn't help but notice his chiseled jawline, giving his face a V-shape that was both alluring and mysterious. And his body—it was like something out of a fashion magazine—had broad shoulders, a defined chest, and a waist that tapered down to perfectly sculpted abs. He exuded confidence and magnetism that were so fabulous, it was impossible not to be drawn to him.
But I shouldn't be interested in him, or any male, for that matter. It wasn't a priority in my life at the time!
"Gavin, you're finally here!" With a bright smile, the young lady's voice boomed out, introducing me as Scarlett Weasley, their new home member. Scott's eyes were locked on me, and I could feel them cutting through me.
"Scarlett," he said quietly, dragging out my name's syllables. "It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Scott McCall," he added, extending his hand to me. But all I did was stare at it for a time before returning my sight to him, my face frigid and distant.
Feeling the sting of embarrassment, Scott withdrew his hand. "You could be a little kinder," he remarked sarcastically.

I ventured out of my room only to use the restroom or grab a bite, so those were the last words exchanged between us. I was obsessed with self-hatred and remorse, feelings that threatened to break me apart. My wand was my only source of comfort, my faithful friend during life's toughest periods.
"Episkey!" I exclaimed, pressing my wand on my wounds to cure them. However, as I had predicted, it only acted on the superficial wounds, leaving the deep discomfort unaffected.
