Entry two of my bloggo begins right now! So last entry was kind of an introduction and I've already run out of things to talk about LOL. Well, I guess the whole reason I started this blog was to keep myself motivated to write so I'll probably talk about that.
For those interested, AE chapter 13 is going up probably today or tomorrow. I'm a little hesitant to post it because recently, since my hiatus, my postings have not been doing that well:,(. I definitely understand that obviously not everyone in the world is going to drop everything and read my story but it's just kind of disheartening and is part of the reason why I've slowed down on my posts. So, if you happen to be reading this blog and haven't read my pinned story, well...I recommend you check it out because it is suuuuuper cool;))) As for how far I've written, I've just begun chapter 18! It is another super long one so I honestly have no clue when I'll be done. It would be nice for me to get myself a writing schedule but I feel like my writing is always best when it's sporadic because I'll just end up sitting down with the INTENTION of writing but never actually write anything. My best writing always comes at 2 in the morning when I have to be up at 8 the next day, unfortunately, LOL. I know schoolwork is going to be extremely heavy this year so I'm just praying I can find time to write. Usually, whenever I would get bored in class I would just plan ahead in my story but that is not an option this year, or else I'm going to probably miss a ton of important info.
I'm really proud of how far I've come, though, and I honestly think I'll be able to get the first draft of Arison Exception done by the end of the year!! Crazy saying that, but I'm really excited for everyone to be able to read the full story in its completion, and maybe then get an official copy if you really like it that much :D259Please respect copyright.PENANAZNerQlxMQS
Something else I am doing this year is getting back into reading. I know it is very common for people to think reading and writing go hand in hand. Every writer also loves to read. Well, that can be true, but it's not true for me sadly. I have commitment issues with literally anything I put my mind to, so like I said, I find it very hard to finish things, including creative projects, and even media like TV shows and books. I honestly have not read that much fiction (not counting textbooks lmao) in the past few years but I'm hoping to change that. I have a reading list and a GoodReads account ready to go and I'm kind of excited to start reading again, though I haven't really started that goal yet. In case you were wondering what my current reading list is, I have the names (but not all of the authors sadly idk why I didn't)

If you're curious about any of these books or have read them as well please comment!! As you can see, I definitely have a lot of "classics" on here from a lot of well-known authors (even though I didn't write them all). Idk, I really like the style of modernism and postmodernism works (basically the first 60 years of the 20th century) , as well as their subject matter (espionage especially what can I say). So, we'll see how it goes! I'm not planning to have all of these read by the end of the year, but as long as I can get back into reading I think I'll be happy. If you also have any similar books you think I'd like feel free to comment or message me:))
I also have some exciting news...I am in the beginning stages of a new book :O. I barely have any of the details down so far but it's going to be another mystery, this time lasting several decades instead of just a school year like Arison Exception. I also want it to be more adult (like the character ages, subject matter, etc) since I myself am now an adult. As a forensics girlie I'm super excited to possibly incorporate some aspects of my forensics knowledge into my writing! Now, the only thing I'm not sure about is whether or not I'm going to post it online, because there are a lot of mechanics of the book that I'm not sure would work on an online format...that kind of sounds weird so let me explain.
Wouldn't it be so cool if part of the story was something you could figure out along with the characters? Like they find a mysterious CD or VHS tape, the book would come with a tape for you to listen to!! I'm sure something like that has already been done before but I still think it's cool! Like I said, VERY early stages so I'm not even sure if I'll do that but we'll see. I think I should probably just focus on my main work before getting carried away with another XD.
Well, I think that's everything I wanted to say! I also want to include the song I'm listening to like last entry, so this time its "Innamorata" by Dean Martin. I've been listening to a lot of very old Italian music lately... que sera, sera I guess.
