Looking onto the neverending cascade of walls, and the empty sky above, I feel something inside me. It feels... meaningless. Is there no way out of here? Is there nothing else in this world? What am I supposed to do here?
Maybe there's more to it. I walk along the top of the walls for a while, but there are flying creatures in the sky that attempt to attack me, and after attempting to evade them for a while, I decide to jump back down into the maze. Now I'm back here. What now?
I feel another unpleasantness. But it's not the same as earlier. What am I supposed to do with it?
I walk around the maze for a bit, feeling worse as time goes by. Luckily I don't meet any creatures, at least.
Then I stop, seeing in the middle of the passage a strange hole in the ground, and there is something blue in it. I reach my hand to touch it, but my hand passes through it, and it feels weird. My instinct tells me to consume it. I scoop some up in my hands and drink it, and the unpleasant feeling goes away. It seems that I need to eat animals and drink this water to survive.
Once I've drank enough, I continue exploring. I hold the sharp bone in my hand as I navigate through the maze. But then I encounter a long, slithering creature, which immediately starts towards me. I run, but it's fast, and it's difficult to escape. It catches my leg and bites it. It feels very bad. I stumble, then turn and strike the animal deeply with the bone. It bleeds as it dies, and lets go of my leg. It hurts, but I survived.
Anxious, I look around the corner, and I see two more creatures down the passage. They're everywhere. It occurs to me that I'm in constant danger. If I want to rest, I can't, because at any moment something could come around the corner. At least I have this weapon.164Please respect copyright.PENANACxLGWI9veX
I take the animal with me as I retrace my steps. Somehow, I find the pile of carcasses that I made earlier. I stop, thinking.
Then I use the sharp bones to rip apart the carcasses. I manage to get more bones out of them, and place four bones next to eachother. I look at the skins. They can be useful too. I remove the skins from the animals and place them on top of the bones, then stack four more bones, then more skins. I manage to build a wall as tall as my stomach, but then I run out of skin and bones.
I go out to hunt again, carefully stepping around corners, avoiding the smaller creatures. Finding a particularly large opening, there's a giant, long creature, that appears to have thick skin. I approach it slowly, but it seems to hear me, and suddenly puffs out some kind of mist. I jump back, surprised, and find that it smells unpleasant, and further more it begins to hurt inside when I touch it. I get away from it, it seems too dangerous.
Instead I find another one of the four legged ones, and I surprise it by running head on. It tries to bite me but I stab it right through the mouth and kill it quickly.
I bring it back, and continue the wall, which is now high enough that I can stand behind it without being seen.
I feel safer now that I can rest with my back to the wall, without being attacked from behind. I sit down, resting. I think now that I have a good chance at surviving in this world.
