Okay, so the story starts with, like, the main character is having basically an ordinary life, when he runs across a large, sharp knife, and, because he's dumb, touches it. Then he gets whisked off to the land of Plootdeveese, where nothing makes sense, and the world is constantly changing, all for the convenience of the story, of course. As he travels through, he finds a friend named Foil, another friend named Foil, and another friend named Looveintrist. He and Looveintrist slowly fall in love, but the bad guy, an evil man named Anty Gonest, starts sending things after them to stop them for no particular reason, things like the evil Rubear Dookies, and the despicable Bullones, or the particularly horrifying Doge. It isn't long, however, before they just happen to hear of a particular thing that can defeat the bad guy: Proota Gonest, Anty Gonest's long-lost brother, who went missing sixteen years ago. They keep searching, until they learn that the main character, who always thought his name was Meen Chracter, is actually Proota Gonest. Then they go to stop the villain and kill him, and then Proota takes his place as king of Plootdeveese. All you have to do is turn everything into a plot device, because that's what Plootdeveese is all about.
