Lisa Harewood is a mechanic onboard the IS-23 - the first living starship ever created. Complete with a fully-functional brain and organ systems, the IS-23 is a revolution in human technology and has placed its inventors - the Cyber Foundation - at the forefront of technological innovation. However, it is not without its controversies, with the Cyber Foundation drawing criticism for the supposed “enslavement” of the sentient machine.
On route for a checkup in the Gil’ar shipyards, the IS-23 is hijacked by terrorists who claim they wish to liberate the starship from the Cyber Foundation. As she tries to figure out a way to escape and defeat the terrorists, Lisa begins a quest which will reveal the true extent of the starship’s humanity - and even make her question hers…
