The doors swung open. Emily's fingers brushed lightly against the white lace veil covering her face. A gentle breeze wafted through the church, carrying with it the sweet floral aroma of her bouquet. Emily's gaze wandered over the aisles, skimming over familiar faces before finally landing on… him.
Standing on the altar, Ethan wore a black tuxedo that fitted him perfectly, accentuating his frame. His hair, usually unruly, was neatly combed for the occasion. As Ethan watched Emily approach, he gave her a warm smile. His lips moved silently, his unspoken words clear as day, "You look beautiful."
As Emily neared the altar, her pace slowed. Delicately lifting the hem of her dress, the fabric rustled softly behind her as she ascended the stairs. Emily felt the sunlight filter through the stained glass windows, basking her with its warmth and painting the wooden floorboards with kaleidoscopic colors. Her heart pounded louder with each step, echoing in her ears.
CRASH
The serene atmosphere shattered. A series of loud, deafening noises erupted from the entrance. Startled, the guests whipped their heads around, confusion and fear clouding their faces. Several masked intruders, clad in black, barged into the church. They acted swiftly, throwing several strange, large canisters into the center of the room.
A terrible hissing sound resounded through the church as the canisters detonated, releasing a thick, gray fog. The fog spread quickly, and soon the entire room was engulfed by the dense, obscuring mist.
Emily's head spun, her thoughts becoming hazy. She clutched at her throat, gasping for air. Her vision grew blurry, eyes struggling to remain open as she fought to stay awake. As she stumbled around aimlessly, the guests collapsed one by one, their attempts to escape in vain. Finally, Emily succumbed to the gas, her consciousness slipping away as the world faded to darkness.213Please respect copyright.PENANAHnFaPvfsdV
