Years later at Andre's House...
"Axe, are you good here?" Andre asked. "I have to go meet up with Devyn to work on a script we have been developing..."
"Me and Matthew are fine..." Cadet said. "But Axe is out with Laney, so she could work on upgrades."
"Okay, I'll stop by Laney's place while I'm out to check up on them..." Andre called out. "Be careful!" Cadet called back. "I will!" Andre responded before leaving the door.
Moments later at the Sapphire Square Cafe...
"So, what should we do for this film?" Devyn asked. "I think we should probably add in something funny to lighten the mood of the story..." Andre said. "Maybe name one of the strong characters something cute like Cheesecake."
"That's a good idea!" Devyn said. "Maybe we can also add in some more comedic aspects to the story."
"I like where this is going," Andre said. "So, the storyline is going through a day of life with a prisoner who snitches on everyone..."
"The prisoner who snitches does it to the wrong person named Cheesecake and ends up suffering consequences," Andre said. "Exactly!" Devyn said. Devyn looks down at his watch. "Oh, I have to go... I have to go submit the Synopsis we just made before it's too late..." Devyn said, rushing off. "Okay... See you later!" Andre called out from behind. "I guess I'll go check on Axe now..."Moments later at Laney's house..."Knock knock, I'm coming in!" Andre called out as he entered the house. "Oh, come on in!" Laney said, walking into the main entrance hallway to her apartment. Andre enters the room. "How's Axe?" Andre asked. "He is deactivated at the moment due to a few updates that are still uploading..." Laney responded. "He will finally be finished in..." Laney looked at her watch. "An hour or so." "I'm so glad you were able to separate Axe and Cadet..." Andre said. "We might need to work on Cadet's eyes though..."
"Why?" Laney asked. "They keep falling out and he keeps having to rely on sound to get around," Andre responded. "Sigh... Bring his eyes to me and I'll calibrate the magnets installed in them," Laney said. Andre looked down at his watch. "Oh, it's getting late... Me and Jaylen were planning to meet up here in a bit..." Andre said. "Oh, so the famous detective is back in town?" Laney asked. "Yep, and we are going over to the Sapphire arcade to catch up on things..." Andre said. "Since we haven't seen him in years..."
"I'll join you guys once I'm done with Axe!" Laney said. "Okay, I'll make sure to buy four bowling passes instead of three," Andre said as he walked towards the front door. "See you then!" Andre called, opening the door. "Bet!" Laney responded from her kitchen. Moments later at the arcade..."I'm glad you found the time to come visit Jaylen!" Andre said. "I'm glad, too... Being a detective can be hard at some points, so vacation is very much preferred," Jaylen said. "It just sucks that Eliza couldn't join us..."
"It was your idea to invite her, I still feel that she is mad at me for the past..." Andre said. "I bet she probably forgot about that... Either way... she was the first one to say she loved you... you just continued it because you hoped that that spark was still there..." Jaylen said. "I guess..." Andre responded."I'm here!" Laney said, approaching the two. "I just had to pick up Eliza and bring her here..."
"Oh... He's here..." Eliza said. "Hi to you too Eliza..." Andre said. "Let's just go bowling..." Jaylen said with a nervous chuckle. "Good idea..." Laney said with a nervous smile. The four walked over to the bowling alley when a shady man entered the arcade. "Have you seen this boy?" The man said, putting down a photo of Andre on the counter. "Is it that boy by any chance?" the cashier said, pointing at Andre. "Yes... Thank you..."As he walked over to Andre, a crowd of people swept in and started to pull him along. "Hey! Let me through!" the shady man said, trying to push through. "No can do!" A man said with a cheerful smile. "We are having so much fun!"
"Join us!" A lady said, dragging him away. "I have business to deal with!" the shady man said as he was dragged away.
Meanwhile...
"The atmosphere is so toxic right now..." Laney whispered to Jaylen. "They haven't even said one word since they've seen each other..."
"I agree... I wonder why they refuse to make up..." Jaylen said. "They won't even make eye contact... Think this was a bad idea?"
"Maybe..." Laney responded. "You know we can hear you..." Eliza said. "You guys can stop whispering," Andre said. "We're sorry... it's just... you two were a good friend duo... you fell in love, and it failed okay... that's not something to fight over..." Jaylen said. "I agree... You two need to make up..." Laney said. "We have our reasons for our attitude..." Andre said. "Now if you excuse me... I have to go to the bathroom..." Andre got up and stormed off toward the bathroom. "Why can't you two just make up?" Laney asked Eliza. "I want nothing to do with him... okay..." Eliza said. "Well... You two used to be best friends... Then you completely ghosted Andre shortly after you said you had a crush on him..." Laney said. "You started it and he feels guilty for it..." "You both need to stop this and make-up... stop trying to avoid your feelings..." Laney said to Eliza. "I know, but... I just need more time to forgive him..." Eliza said. "For what?" Laney asked. "I'll go check on Andre..." Jaylen said, walking off to the bathroom to leave Laney and Eliza to talk. "Andre..." Jaylen said, knocking on the stall door. "Are you okay?"
"What do you think..." Andre responded. "She refuses to forgive me... I tried to be the one to reconnect us, but... she ghosted me until now..."
"She played with my feelings and now I don't even know what true love feels like..." Andre finished. "You'll figure it out..." Jaylen said. "It just takes time..."
"I know, but... Sigh... I just feel so alone..." Andre said. "I feel like I'm slowly losing fragments of myself..." "It will come back soon... if now is not the time... then later..." Jaylen said. The shady man entered the bathroom. "Have you seen this boy?" he asked Jaylen, showing a photo of Andre. "Yes, but now is not the time..." Jaylen said. "Now is the perfect time..." he said before the lights shut off and everything went dark.
