"Wujin, we have to complete this work," Gyeongsu screamed as he flipped his paper non-stop. I turned my head to look at their direction. My face started to heat up when my eyes met Wujin's. "Oh my gosh, Soyeon, did you do the work?"
My eyes blinked constantly as I looked at them before slowly shaking my head. I quicky take my paper and shove it in my bag.
"Y-you should join us to complete it," Wujin blurt out. I bit my lips before bring my chair to their seat table. Cheongsan came running in, trying to copy too. I sat down over there, staying quiet while looking at the question paper that Wujin was trying to figure out.
"It's A," I mumbled as I looked at his face. He blinked his eyes at me before writing down the answer. I ended up helping Wujin till he was able to finish his work while Gyeongsu and Cheongsan ended up copying what Wujin wrote.
The guys started to quickly pick up their bags and wanted to leave the classroom. "Soyeon, you want to walk back together?" Wujin asked. I looked at my seat where Namra was suppose to seat beside me. She went back home already, seems like I have to walk back myself again. I nodded my head before picking up my bag, walking out of the classroom.
We soon parted ways with Cheongsan and Gyeongsu cause they seem like they were busy with something. It was terribly awkward when I walked with Wujin. I didn't know how to talk to him, and it was considered like the first time I'm actually walking with him alone.
"Soyeon ah, umm, are you free tomorrow?" Wujin started to talk. My eyes widen as I heard that, I slowly nodded my head.
"I shouldn't be busy..." I softly spoke. I could feel my ears turning red, way too red than what it is suppose to be. I looked at Wujin who was trying to hide his smile of his. Oh, how cute can his smile be?
"Can we hang out together? Just you and me?" Wujin said. He finally got the courage to ask me. I bit my lips, trying to stop the excitement from coming. I nodded my head for the first time not as slow as I would always do. He let out a smile before turning his head away from me for a while and looking back at me. "I'll see you tomorrow?"
I nodded my head as I walked towards my doorstep. Wujin started to wave goodbye to me and unknowingly I did the same. I looked at him before lightly smiling at him, opening the door and leaving.
The moment I closed the door, I was screaming like some mad woman. Namra came running down from her room, looking terribly confused at my actions.
"He asked me out," I screamed as I started jumping up and down.
"He finally? Took him long enough...Shit, I shouldn't have left you to walk back yourself. Did Gwinam harassed you?" Namra said as she started to check me.
"Wujin walked back with me. Gyeongsu and Cheongsan would've walked back too but they went with Isak and Onjo," I assured her, holding onto her hand. Namra looked really uncertain when she heard my words.
"So that's how you managed to get him to ask you out? Smart," Namra concluded as she walked to the kitchen.
"Where's eomma?"
"She's busy, at work. She won't come back till midnight," Namra said as she went back to her room to study. I silently sighed when I saw Namra going back to her dungeon. She's doing revision again.
Eomma always wants Namra to be first in class, to be the best. I on the other hand, always came in third, sometimes winning over Namra. I walked back to my room, taking a shower and changing my clothes. Walking to my desk, I switch on my PC and started to wait for the game to load. Wujin was online, of course he will be, he plays the game nearly everyday.
"Hiiii, shimkongz__, you are online again? Great, I have something tell you. You know about the girl I have been telling you about?" He typed in the chat. My heart sank when he said that. I was upset, I was jealous, I was mad.
"I asked her out. Like literally just now," He continued to type. My heart then stopped beating. I was in shock. I was the girl that he has been talking about for a long time? Completely unexpected. I was in shock. I couldn't believe what I just read.
So he likes me? And it is not just as a friend but actually? I could hear my heart beating really, quite not what I would usually have. My cheeks started to heat up as the place started to get really hot.
"shimkongz__ Are you there?"
I looked up before typing back. "That's nice, I assume she agreed isn't it?"
"Yes." That one word made me smile. Of course, I ended up gaming with him once more the entire night. And that entire night made me unable to fall asleep. Blame it on Wujin.
I woke up, feeling so much refresher than I should be feeling. Changing into my uniform, I looked at myself through the mirror before getting out of my room.
"Choi Soyeon. Where is your latest exam paper? Namra has already showed them to me," My mum said. I silently groaned before taking out the paper from my bag, placing it on the table. "Third... Again? Why can't you be like Namra? Why are you always third and not second? Why can't you beat your sister? You are not even the top student in your cohort?"
I stood that silently. It was obvious that I already gave up talking to her. She wouldn't listen to me either ways. Her nagging made me frustrated, I wanted to leave as soon as possible. Silently sighing, I made my way to the door, opening the door and slamming it.
I heard her shout for my name, but of course, I didn't bother to turn back. While walking, Namra quickly caught up to me. Her ears having her airpods, while talking, "Eomma wants you to be back home immediately after school. She might've gotten you a new tutor."
"Tell her, I'm not doing it. If she isn't proud of me, there isn't a need for her to do all this shits," I said as I continued to walk to school, a little faster.
Surprisingly, I entered the school entrance faster than what I had expected. I was about to greet Eunji when suddenly, I saw her being pulled by Myunghwan and the gang. My eyes widen as my thoughts started to crumble together.
Suhyeok then followed behind after them to the construction site. I silently cursed myself as I felt my leg bringing me to the site.
"You asshole," Gwinam muttered.
"Quickly take the video," Myunghwan threatened as he chuckled.
"That's enough," Suhyeok said, suddenly stepping out of the place he was hiding.
"That son of a bitch," Changhoon muttered as he started to walk towards the poor boy who was being forced to film.
Suhyeok sighed as he pulled the guy away from them and asking the girl to wear her clothes once more. I mentally curse myself for walking upfront when Gwinam tried to threaten posting it on facebook.
"Yah Gwinam, quit it," I said as I raised my voice a little, "Quit being like a kid will you? It's childish."
"Look who is it, our regular customer? Are you here for it again? How long has it been? 6 months already?" Myunghwan joked.
"Princess is here once more. Taking over her position? If I post yours, I would definitely gain loads of views," Gwinam said as he started to slowly approach me. Suhyeok started to pull me back as I stood there frozen.
"I still have the video in he-" A punch was sent to Changhoon's face. I raised my eyebrow as I saw the blood bleeding from his nose.
"I've been wanting to do this for ages," I said before turning behind pulling Eunji with me, leaving Suhyeok alone there who then quickly ran up to me. "He isn't going to post it. He isn't getting into trouble because of that, trust me." Eunji nodded her head.
I sighed for a while, knowing that she won't listen to me. "So this soft girl is a killer," Suhyeok joked as he placed his arm around my shoulders the moment Eunji left to her classroom.
"Only today," I said before walking to the class. My eyes widen when I saw Wujin in the classroom. Wujin's face lit up when he saw me before he came running towards me. Suhyeok gave a smirk before giving me a pat on the shoulder, leaving to flirt with Namra.
"You seem different. Different in a good way," Wujin said as he looked at me, "Your knuckles have blood on it. Did you fight with someone? Or did you get injured? You know what, let's just get you treated first before you tell me anything."
"You know what, let's just get you treated first before you tell me anything," Gyeongsu and Cheongsan started to mimic Wujin's voice, trying to embarrass him. Wujin attempted to punch them while I just silently chuckled.
"I'm fine, I just punched someone in the face," I said as I tried to cover up my laughter.
"That's what she said," Gyeongsu and Cheongsan said it together.
"It's Changhoon's blood," I said as I used a tissue to clean the blood away from my knuckles. I looked at Wujin who was looking at me non-stop. "He pissed me off, so I couldn't keep my cool."
"So you are actually a hot temper woman? I didn't know that," Gyeongsu said as he felt like someone was shouting at him.
"Yah, get off my table you dirty welfie," Nayeon screeched, "You stink."
"Yah, what. What the fuck you called me," Gyeongsu said as started to get off the table before fake cleaning her table, "It's clean now."
"It's dirty because it is you," Nayeon said.
"Get over here you punks, time is up," Ms Park started talking as she walked into the classroom. I sat next to Namra as I took out my fake phone before placing it in the box. "Hand over your phones. And Soyeon, that's your old phone from last year, take it back. You only use it to take photos now."
I silently cursed before turning back to take the phone and placing the actual one in the bag. Wujin slightly chuckles when he heard me getting called out, making me embarrassed to look at him.
"Onjo, this is also your own phone, get back here," Ms Park continued. Suddenly she took out a phone and started texting. Numerous of ringtones started to sound and one of it was Daesu's.
"You idiot, who doesn't put their phone on silent mode," Wujin commented as everyone giggled, seeing Daesu standing up and surrendering his phone.
"Who was in touch with Hyeonju today?" Ms park started to ask, "No one? No one bother to message her." Of course no one would message her, she always hang out with Gwinam and the gang.
"Uh, we cleaned the science lab, together yesterday, but I haven't seen her since," Joonyeong said after clearing his throat.
"She is probably napping or something," I commented softly as I looked up to see Wujin's eyes on me. He has been staring at me way too much right now and the day hasn't even fully started.
"If anyone hears from her some time the next few days, let me know right away, okay?" Everyone nodded their head. "Exams start next week, so get your acts together."
Everyone let out a groan when they heard that. Of course, our class is considered on of the worst in the cohort because half of us always flunk the exam. I looked at Namra, her face completely covered with the textbook, she is studying again.
She must've caught me staring at her once more before talking to me, "Soyeon-ah, you have to study already. You know Eomma isn't happy that you aren't topping the cohort and also getting only third in class."
"I'll study when I want to," I silently said as I went on listening to Ms Park's lecture.
"In fact, none of us are completely free from prejudice. We all have preconceived ideas about others. Here, "free from" means the lacking in or unincumbered by. Anyone want to interpret this?" Ms Park started to look around. Heesu raised up her hand before asking to go to the bathroom.
"Class president?"
"The truth is, all of us have some sort of prejudice. We all have preconceptions9Please respect copyright.PENANAt2mD7s2bsr
about other people," Namra said as she stood up before seating back down. Ms Park nodded her head before looking at the back where Suhyeok was busy talking to his friends.
"Baresu, stand up," Ms Park said, "What's with Baresu?"
"He hates wearing socks. He's so weird about it. I can smell it a mile away." I let out a soft giggle as I heard that. Suhyeok awkwardly smiled before looking back at Ms park.
"What did Namra said?"
"Uhh, she was absolutely correct. A hundred percent," Suhyeok said. I knew that guy wouldn't know what my own sister said. Way too occupied with what he is doing everytime.
"What is her absolutely correct then?" Ms Park said till there was a crash. There there was Hyeonju covered in blood.
"Is that blood?" Nayeon shouted as she saw the body. I was stunned when I saw the appearance. She smelled fishy, like rotten body. I stood up as I walked closer to Hyeonju, seeing the blood on her. Out of curiosity, I touched her hand and it was freaking cold.
It felt like ice. Her eyes were red and her nose was bleeding. A little bit way unusual for someone to get injured. That was when I felt a wound on her hand, I looked at it, realising a tiny bite mark, created by some tiny animal.
"Hyeonju, what happened?" Ms Park said, interrupting my thoughts.
"He grabbed me and locked me up," Hyeonju murmured. I stood there, obviously thinking till I didn't notice Suhyeok had already carried her on his back.
"Soyeon, can you help to make sure Hyeonju is still ok? Namra, make sure no one leaves the classroom and do not spread this till we get the facts right first," Ms Park said. I nodded my head before walking out of the classroom, following them. As we ran to the infirmary, Hyeonju started trying to bite Suhyeok. I pulled her hair to the back to stop her from doing that, till I heard a tiny crack from a neck.
I didn't know I was that strong to do that even. Hyeonju started trying to bite my hand that was holding onto her, out of defence, I slapped her face away from me as we made it to the infirmary.
As they place her on the bed, I stood close to the bed, my hand still on her hair, pulling it. "Her temperature is way too low," the nurse said and suddenly she let out a yelp. I looked up realising Hyeonju bit her.
Hyeonju kept on growling non-stop till she scratched Onjo's hand. My eyes widen when Onjo let out a soft yelp as she felt the pain. Suddenly I felt someone gripping my hand tightly, digging their nails into mine. Hyeonju. I bit my lips at the nurse gave a sedative.
She slowly loosen her grip, letting my hands free. I glared at her as I looked at my wrist which has a bruise and tiny bloods.
"Too hot. too hot," Hyeonju said as she looked like she was calming down or not. Soon the ambulance came as I walked away, obviously not wanting to wait for anything. Suhyeok followed me behind as I placed my hand in my pocket as I walked quietly back to the classroom.
Onjo shouted for Suhyeok, making him turn his head. I looked at Onjo's face and looked at her hand which was gripping onto something. I guessed that she was confessing her love to Suhyeok. It is going to be obvious what the answer will be which I decided to not bother watching. Cheongsan then ran past me as I walked into the classroom.
I looked at Namra and she was still studying.
"Look at her, she is still studying even though all this happened," One of the girls mumbled. I gave an instant glare at the girl, walking up to the girl and pulled her hair. "Care to repeat?"
She let out a yelp as she gave me a glare, holding onto her hair. "Do not talk about my sister will you? It pisses me off a lot. If you want to talk about her, talk something positive things," I said softly as I let go of her hair, walking back to my seat.
"Soyeon-ah, there isn't a need to be aggressive... Where is your soft side now?" Namra muttered as she continued to look at the book.
"Lost control of temper today," I muttered as I looked at her. I heard her letting out a sigh before focussing back on her work. I was about to do the same till someone pulled their chair next to mine. I looked up, turning my head and not realising it was Wujin.
Our noses touched each other as I looked at him in the eye. I was stunned. I was shocked. My heart started to beat really fast and I'm pretty sure his did too. I bit my lips when I saw his eyes travel to my lips. He was about to lean in when...
"Public space here," Joonyeong shouted as Gyeongsu let out a cough. Wujin closed his eyes before looking like he was going to kill those people.
"I was just asking, are we still on about the dat- hang out," Wujin said as he tried to change the words at the end. I nodded my head as I looked down, seeing my hands were rubbing each other, till my hand turned red.
Wujin noticed that till he placed his hands on mine, separating the two hands. "Don't do that, it's going to make the pretty hands damaged... What happened? That bruise and blood," Wujin said. I looked at my wrist, he noticed.
"Hyeonju started to grip onto my wrist way too tightly that's why," I said as I looked at him. He let out a sigh before taking a tissue and cleaning the blood away for me.
"Does it hurt?" he asked. I shook my head as he threw away the tissue. "Do you want to... Have lunch with me? Like the two of us?" I was in shock, I couldn't speak. I didn't know he would ask me to eat with him, even though I don't usually go eating during lunch most of the time.
Slowly nodding my head as a smile crept out. I was smiling in front of him for the first time, actually for the first time. He would usually see those soft small smiles of mine and now he saw my biggest smile ever.
He nodded his head as he started to smile before reaching my hand, placing something in it before leaving, going back to Gyeongsu and the others. I looked at my hand, speechless.
He gave me his nametag. Which means... He wants it to be a date not a hang out. Happily placing his nametag in my pocket, I waited till time was up by sleeping.

I found myself seating next to Wujin and with his group of friends who insisted on following along with us. "Cheongsan, are you sure you aren't going to date Onjo?" Gyeongsu asked as he munched on his food. I looked up, interested in the topic.
"You like to drink this isn't it?" Wujin said as he handed me a carton of banana milk. I nodded my head, internally smiling, somehow he noticed my liking for the drink.
"Rubbish, I am not asking her out. We are just friends," Cheongsan said as he cursed at Gyeongsu for bringing the topic up.
"But you like her right, I can notice it with your eyes," I said as I drank the milk that I got first, planning to have the one that Wujin gave me later. Cheongsan shook his head vigorously. "Your gaze at her is simply just full of love."
Gyeongsu nearly spit his drink out when he heard what I said. Cheongsan giving me the glare, muttering some curses that I can't make out. "Ms Choi, if I'm not wrong, you don't talk a lot. Why is it today, you speak a lot and it is a ton of shit," Cheongsan said as he contained his anger.
I looked at him shrugging. "I don't know... Just felt like I should do it before something happens," I said and suddenly there was screams. I turned my head to look at the glass door where numerous of students were pressing onto the glass. Soon the impact was too big till the glass entirely broke and in came pouring students running and... with bloods on them.
They were biting each other, running, jumping, pulling out each other's fleshes. I felt Wujin's hand intertwining mine before pulling me away from the scene. The entrance started to be block and the sprinklers were pouring down. Little did I know, I was push down by one of the bloody students, thrashing their hunger towards me. 9Please respect copyright.PENANATU6UToRa9U
Letting out a scream, I kicked the zombie, avoiding the mouth. Wujin quickly pull the zombie away from me before pulling me once more, out of the cafeteria and to our classroom.
Wujin kept on protecting me all the way till we reach the classroom, banging onto the door, asking them to quickly let us in. I kept kicking the zombies away from us till door was open. I fell down on the chair, breathing hardly as I looked around.
"Where's Namra and Suhyeok?"
