Do any of you guys ever have power struggles with you're parents? Its expected of them to ride you're tail about keeping you're act straight, but my dad seems to not do anything but nag, I know it sounds childish, but it really lowers my self esteem. When I go to take a trip to the grocery store with my dad, we don't really talk, but when we do, its about whether or not I cleaned the kitchen or ran some laundry through. I'm not sure he even knows what i'm interested in any more. I just want to sit down with him and have a casual conversation about our day, or what he likes, what I like, and have him help me with homework. My life is great, for the most part, I have my own room, ample amounts of clothes, I never wonder where my next meal will come from, I have enough. I just wish my dad would be a little more considerate about how I might feel when he has a bad day at work, comes home and yells at us because we didn't finish the kitchen yet. I'm sorry to any one I offended for whining about my dad not talking with me when I want, while there are millions of children who don't have dads or have dads who abuse them, I really am sorry, and as always, you are in my prayers, and may things always get better. I love you all! Until next time! *cringing at that outro*
