Friday finally rolled around and I was pretty excited to be attending the school's annual lock-in. The school normally does it once a year and I always try to go to it every year with Zoe. What we do at the lock-in is play games and listen to music or socialize and all the people who go to the lock-in sleeps in the same room. The room is normally the gym since it's the only place in school that's really huge. I'm going to try to make the best of this lock-in the best way I can.
I had my mom drive me and Zoe over to the school around 8 pm.
"Have fun you two and don't cause trouble." My mom teased.
"Bye mom." I said as I clutched my pillow under my arm.
"Thanks for the ride, Ms Matthews." Zoe said.
"No problem. See you guys tomorrow." She said then drove off.
"Are you ready to get your party on!?" Zoe asked excited.
I nodded with a bright smile. "Definitely."
We both headed over to the gym and when we got there, we couldn't believe our eyes. The gym was decked out with a large movie screen and speakers on the side so we can watch a movie and listen to music at the lock-in. There were also a lot of kids that came. Though, I was looking around for one boy in particular. My eyes scanned the gym until they laid upon Reggie and his friends that sat across the gym on their sleeping bags. Pretty much every kid that has come has already laid out their pillows and sleeping bags. I found Reggie to be cute in his black and white checkered pj pants and green Alien hoodie. I'm currently wearing a black The Walking Dead t-shirt and plain black fuzzy pj bottoms. Zoe is wearing a pink t-shirt with Hello Kitty on it and matching pink Hello Kitty pants.
"Let's go find a good place to roll out our sleeping bags." Zoe said.
I nodded then started to walk with her around the gym to find a good place to sleep. We found a space that was near Reggie so I can keep my eye on him but far away so it won't seem like i'm creeping on him. Me and Zoe started to roll out our sleeping bags and set our pillows down. I've only been here for five seconds and already i'm having fun being here.
"Hey, since you pretty much blew Jayden off, you don't mind if I ask him out do you?" Judas said to Reggie.
Reggie suddenly looked at Judas and stared at him. "What? You're going to ask out that dweeb? Whatever happened to your crush on that one girl?"
Judas shrugged. "I got over it. She didn't seem as interesting. Jayden, however, seems WAY more interesting."
Reggie continued to stare at him.
"You don't have a problem with that do you? After all, you're not 'gay' anyways." Judas grinned.
Reggie shrugged. "Do whatever you want. I don't care."
Judas grinned. "Great!" He hopped right up and started to walk over to Zoe and me.
Me and Zoe looked up and greeted Judas.
"Mind if I hang with you guys?" He asked.
"What about Reggie?" Zoe asked.
Judas shrugged. "What about him? He can live without me." He said then sat down next to me.
"This lock-in is going to be uber hot."
Me and Zoe both rolled our eyes at the same time then giggled.
Across the way, Reggie was busy staring at me, Zoe and Judas.
