I think two things when I hear the word ocean. Two very different things. Sometimes it depends on when/how/why I hear the word. Sometimes I just see both contrasting possibilities at the same time.
I either see a loving romantic scene set at sea. The Titanic Love story. Kisses in front of waterfalls. Mermaids draped on the jagged rocks that peek their heads up from under the ocean. The beautiful waves crashing through the deep blue. I think of someone diving into the ocean to save someone they love. I think of tossing away a painful souvenir while wistfully watching it sink into nothingness.
Or. . .
I see a thrilling scene full of adventure. Pirates chasing each other on the high seas. Their massive boats tearing through the open water as if it were paper. Spies or Secret agents being chased off of waterfalls. Government aircrafts dramatically coming out from being submerged in the ocean. Raging cyclones spinning out of control while trying to swallow its enemies. 517Please respect copyright.PENANAeSD8EgKQiG
There is no in between with the ocean. I see it as a gentle giant or a ferocious beast. Calming or Daring. A sweet scene or an epic challenge.
