I've never understand why kids make such a big deal out of dating at such a young age. My eleven-year-old daughter has a "girlfriend", my youngest daughter wants to "date the cute boy at church" and I've long ago lost count of the number of girls that my son has brought home.651Please respect copyright.PENANAwrMBMY5hHG
Dating used to be a serious thing. You would bring them to meet your parents, invite them over for dinner, see a nice movie, ect. Now dating seems like something people do because they are bored, and it seems like they don't see the deeper feelings that are supposed to be related to. The chances are you don't actually love the person you met a week ago, who gave you their number. It also seems like teenagers, especially girls seem to think that they need a boyfriend to have happiness, or to be successful or popular.651Please respect copyright.PENANA8LZ5Y0PH4f
Sometimes, it leads to sex, but is there truly love in these rendezvous? Or are some people so desperate to feel love, to feel wanted that they feel as though they need a relationship?651Please respect copyright.PENANAjpaNWvdpV5
I get that people like dating. I was a kid once, I married the man of my dreams, so I know the stress that accompanies trying to build a romance, and knowing if what you are feeling is truly love. 651Please respect copyright.PENANAJePor2kVkg
I've seen people say they will be with the person they are dating forever. So, going from the statistics of people who say that and the lengths of their relationship with that person, I'm going to assume forever is approximately two weeks?651Please respect copyright.PENANAkptGafiISS
It's like the word love has lost its meaning in the romantic sense. People settle for anything, dating seems to lead to a couple ending up in the bedroom (i'm not condoning sex btw), and the next day they hate each other.651Please respect copyright.PENANAlfp4UQqMaf
I've also seen relationships ended for petty things. Examples: "he liked a girl's profile picture", "she wouldn't quit hanging out with her guy friends", porn, different tastes in music, petty arguments. The list goes on and on. It's ridiculous, because it turns dating into nothing more than a pastime, where people worry about quantity as opposed to quality.651Please respect copyright.PENANADpK9EFSeFB
