The wind blew. The fire blazed. The earth rumbled. And the water swirled. Everything was in chaos. Atop everything, a woman's voice echoed like a thousand voices speaking all at once.
"Enough is enough, Gaea. You must learn to be content!"
Her long crimson hair danced behind her like the fingers of fires. Her eyes were a pair of the most mesmerizing orbs. Her irises were like the ocean, her pupils were as bright as the sky and they were speckled with the sand of the earth. Her black, silken dress was full of glistening white dots as if they were the stars in a perfect night sky.
In front of her is Gaea, the very epitome of the earth. "I will have my vengeance, sister!" she shouted towards the crimson-haired woman before she completely vanished.
Once Gaea was gone, the crimson-haired woman turned to the demi-gods who bowed before her. With a raise of her hands, the earth created a sanctuary for the children of the gods from humans. With an order from her, the ocean created a large, strong shield around the place. And with a word from her, no other than demigods can enter the sanctuary.
"Remember my name, children. I am Kaneis, the founder of this Sanctuary. I am its life and shield. The savior and protector of demigods. I am the epitome of existence; the firstborn of Chaos--I am everything."

Long before anything, there was nothing. And Chaos came to be--the very first being. Though, she was nothing but an unfathomable, empty space; a realm of powerful mass and energy.
In her loneliness, Kaneis came to be--the firstborn of Chaos the nothingness.
