A year before Tina, he had asked Carla out but according to her she didn't date fellow officers. He kept trying thinking she was playing hard to get but it never happened. A couple months after he gave up trying, he saw her with his partner at the time. He just laughed it off but a day after that he met the love his life so as you can see no longer relevant.
