I woke up puffy eyed, I looked at my phone then I realized- I was late for school.

“야! 어디가? (Hey! Where are you going?)” I shut my mouth then ran after her “Hey! Min-seo!” I kept calling her but she never turned around. When I finally caught up to her I pulled her elbow “Why are you running away?” I asked her “I-I thought you- ack don’t even bother asking” she turned “Why are you going there instead of school?” she sighed then I heard her say “I knew it” I gave a slight laugh then said “I’m sorry- You wanna skip school again?” she gave me a pleased nod.
“So where are your parents?” I asked her as we walk through the park “I-I’m a foster kid” she told me “Oh- someone adopted you yet?” I asked her again, she nodded “Yeah- And they’re pretty nice although I don’t want them to take care of me now. So I’m looking for a part-time job” she explained “Oh! There’s a cafe I work part-time at and they’re recruiting a new part-timer, You can apply there right now!” I could see the visible smile on her face.
As I escorted her to the cafe I could see Kang-min’s surprised face. He stood up then pointed “태인아! 여자진구있어?! (Tae-in! You have a girlfriend?!)” I looked at him in disgust “You shut your mouth or I’ll shut it for you” I balled my fist “What’s with the attitude?” Kang-min kept on teasing “Seriously though, is that your girlfriend?” He asked. I shook my head “지랄 (Bullshit)” Then he smirked “진짜! (I’m serious)” I turned to her “She’s just my friend” I swung my hand in mid-air “진구! (Friend)” I then rolled my eyes then sat down “The reason I brought her here is that she’s looking for a job” Kang-min looked at her “Perfect timing! You can go straight to the manger’s office, she just basically accepts anyone . . . even weirdos like Tae-in” then he gave a big dumb laugh “But seriously you can go inside and talk to her” Min-seo looked at the ‘Employee only’ room “there?” she asked and I nodded.
“Ooh-” I said when she entered the manager’s office followed by a laugh from Kang-min.
I was cleaning the counter top as Kang-min and I waited for Min-seo.
once she finally got out. she had a wide smile on her face "왜? (why?) "I asked "I got accepted" her joy made me smile so much "소희 사장님 (Boss So-hee) Just accepts random people 'cause she has no choice" Kang-min said with his arms crossed "Don't be too sad" I walked over to him and patted his head "Feeling better?" I teased "Do- Isn't this too gay?" I shook my head them looked at Min-seo "Don't worry he's always like this 'cause the time he applied '소희 사장님' rejected him, so when he begged her she just said 'Guess I have no choice'" Then I gave a slight laugh " 씨발~! (Fuck you~!)" He pouted, Just then a black limo passed by- I quickly ducked under the counter in fear. "왜그래? (What's wrong?)" Min-seo asked "앖어(Nothing)" I told her then signaled Kang-min "stay" He gestured his hand "All clear" He said so I stood up and looked out the window "Thank god" I looked at Min-seo she had a puzzled face " I don't know he just does that every time that limo passes by" Kang-min said "Is it the same limo or he's just scared of limousines?" I wasn't sure if Min-seo was being sarcastic 'cause her tone was- anyway Kang-min didn't knew the answer either, so he just made a confused gesture "I-It's nothing" I nervously said.

When I arrived I quickly went to my room and I immediately remembered our English essay So I went to my room, Grabbed my English textbook from my Bookshelf then something fell out, It seemed to be a picture. I picked it up and my eyes widened "도대체? (What the hell?) Why did I keep this?" I kept looking at the picture "I should've burned this a long time ago" I crumpled the paper then threw it on the trash can.
