I went to the master control room to see what was happening. When I got there, there was nothing. No one nothing nowhere. Panic hit my brain. My heart thumped wildly. I ran back to the hyper sleep chamber and saw that all the pods were closed, including mine. I reached for the closest one to me and I opened it. Inside I found Dylan. Seeing one of my colleagues, I reached out to wake him but my hand went right through him instead. It was a hologram. But how? I looked around and saw a shadow going to the prep room. Quickly I rushed towards the shadow. When I got there, no one was in the room. Suddenly everything turned black and someone was wrestling me to the ground.
"I've got you, you beast,"
Recognising the voice, I called out, "Dylan? Is that you?"
Immediately I was let loose. It was Dylan.
"Sorry I thought you were someone else,"
"Who?" I asked.
"The person who took everyone away," Dylan explained.
"How'd you know it's a person,"
"What else could it be?"
That left me questioning.
"But now I've found you so we can look for the others together!" Dylan cried out.
"Lets start with the facts. What happened to you when you woke up?" I asked, ready to solve this mystery.
"I woke up in the hyper sleep chamber at 9:05-"
"You can't have,"
"What do you mean?"
"That was the time I woke up and no one was there," I shouted in surprise.
Now this was a real mystery.
We suddenly heard a moan from the hyper sleep chamber. Someone must be there. I was about to go towards the sound when Dylan pointed outside the tiny window. There were two wide eyes staring back at me.
