The large house, built with dark colored wood looks like a typical house in the forest, but as you've already learned, it's not at all typical.
Just as soon as you walk in, you learn this place, this odd, and yet lovely house, is something else...it's magical.
While at first it freaked you out, you learned to enjoy the house's oddness. The way it would smell like flowers with no flowers in sight; the music that played, and how it played the song you wanted to hear, right when you wanted to hear it; or even how at night, when you looked out the window you could see all kinds of strange things, like sparkling lights and rainbows and an entire galaxy.
It was something strange and wondrous and you looked forward to coming back whenever you wished to escape reality.
