"Ouch!!! I'm so sorry. I didn't mean it," I said apologetically as grasping my head in pain on the floor as the result of bumping into a guy. How could this happen to me? Why? It's only my first day in school. He must be in pain too because I can see him rubbing his chest repeatedly. I don't want to create a drama so I stand up and bow a little at him.
"Sorry, I have to rush," I said and quickly leave him there. I don't even look at his face properly. Hopefully, we won't meet each other again because it'll be awkward.
“Hey!!! You!!! Don't you dare to run away!!!” I can barely hear what he is shouting at me as I'm about to reach the staff office. I'm sweating from running so fast from him. I thought I was safe for now.
🔹IN CLASS 2-2🔹
The moment Ai Hikari left, the whole class starting to heat up with questions. "Whoaaaa...what the hell was that?" asked a boy who sits in front of the teacher's desk. "I never know we had a transfer student" a girl said from behind.
"She looks dull and quiet that's why we don't notice her," said Nene Maeda with a sarcastic voice and rolled eyes. A girl behind her nods heartily to show her agreement.
"Guys..honestly, I can't believe you all said that. We can't judge a book by its cover right. Give her a chance, today is her first day too" spoke Yuji Watari exuberantly, trying to convince everybody.
"Yeah, I guess you're right," someone said apologetically.
Incredulously Nene said, "As expected of Watari-kun, you had never spoken ill of anyone." Hearing that makes Yuji grinning a little. Another boy seated beside him, Shin Odagiri added, "Speaking of transfer student..there was a girl last year that didn't attend class at all. Could it be that girl is her??? Don't you think so?"
"Eh…really? I never heard that before," Yuji replied blankly.
Suddenly, the door is slid open and an angry-looking guy steps inside and slides the door close again loudly.
"Good morning At-chan!! You are always late. Is something upsetting you? You look angry," greeted Nene smiling happily. "Firstly, I don't like you calling me 'At-chan' and second, I just bumped into this rude girl. How dare she left just like that after that," said Atsushi Toma in annoyance.
"Haha...it's your fault too. It won't happen if you come early. Ah! I'm sorry Toma, I couldn't save your seat. Someone already sit in there when I come, but you could still sit beside her if you want" said Shin pointing towards the middle seats in the back of the class.
"What!! No way…I really like that seat," sigh Atsushi. "Don't worry. I already save you another seat just in front of that seat" told Shin.
As Atsushi sits in his saved seat, Nene comes towards him, “Hey, looks like everyone is in the same class again like the last grade," she said beaming. "Yeah…you're right," he answers half-halfheartedly.
Nene asked, "Did you know? We have a new transfer student?"
