Things became kinda dusty and there were leaves on the floor. It was like no one had ever been here for quite a long time. The idea scared the heck out of me. “What happened to my parents,” l kept asking myself as l ran inside the rooms calling out and seeking for them. All the rooms were empty and deserted. Spider webs everywhere. I finally reached my bedroom. The old thing brings back memories. Everything was all in place, just older. My bed was full of scratches and marks like it was attacked by a grizzly bear. The pillows were all over the floor. It was right at that moment that l saw a mark on the floor right next to my bed. It was a dark mark of some kind of liquid. Was it coffee? Tea? Chocolate milk? Then when my eyes finally adjusted to the darkness of the house, the image became clearer.
