It was a sunny day. I was hanging out with my friend. We were walking around town, shopping and finding places to eat. We were heading to the next store, laughing and talking as normal friends do. But we weren’t paying attention to our surroundings. We were crossing the street when suddenly my friend, Kayla, stopped. I turned around but kept walking, and her eyes widened with fear. “Willow! Move!” she screamed. But it was too late. The car slammed into me and I went flying. I was dead before I hit the ground.
I quickly close the door. I remember the pain and the fading away into death. I open another door. This one shows me memories of my childhood. I open another. Memories from school. I keep opening more doors, each showing me different memories. Now I know what this place is. It’s showing me who I was before. It’s the walk down memory lane before the afterlife.
