In a few months, Isolabella would be 23. And by 23, she stops aging.
A few months ago, Isolabella had nearly lost her life. She had been too lenient towards an angel, it was the supernatural war that was going on. She did not kill him after defeating him, and she only turned her back on him to let him leave and live on without being in the fight anymore, but the angel was quick to deceive and break his promise. He attacked Isolabella soon after and put his lance into her heart. If Abaddon wasn't present in the fight near her, Lucifer wouldn't have gotten to her in time before Death took her and passed his judgment on her. Lucifer, without consulting his adopted daughter had slit his vein on his wrist and made her drink from his blood.
And that's how she became immortal.
Even though Lucifer didn't ask for her permission to turn her immortal, she was thankful for how caring her papa was. That he had risked their relationship and his life just to save hers.
Despite all the supernatural war, the academy was the peaceful ground. No one, absolutely no one attacked that place. Even the demons stayed away from the academy. After all they had their people there too, they wouldn't risk their lives. So, despite the war, the academy was still teaching and Isolabella was still an active student there, only now it was her last year.
Today, she was wearing a circle black skirt that reached her knee, a pair of combat boots, some black shorts underneath to not flash everyone In case of fights, and a crop top that had a picture of a cross on it. It was ironic for the cross to be there, the hell creatures all loved her shirt and complimented her for it while the heaven creatures hated her guts. Besides one angel who just always stared at her with curiosity. He was a low ranking angel whom she had saved a few times after he was bullied. His blonde hair that could be confused with white was silky and pushed back a bit with a few escaped strands adorning his forehead. His eyes were grey with specks of black in them. His little nose had a spray of freckles on it. Overall he was on the paler side and a lean build, later on while stuttering he had told her she was his savior and gave her his name in return as he had nothing else to offer, he was Engelfrid.
Now no one dares to bully one another because once she knows, she beats the crap out of the bully and makes them spend time with the person they bullied for a month. This usually made the bully and the bullied become friends despite their deferences. Hence she is the student representative of the academy. She had decided to dedicate time as long as she could for those that were bullied. It was her way of making sure that no one was going through abuse like she had as much as she could help it.
As Isolabella pushed her dark wavy and bouncy hair back, her chocolate eyes connected to two yellow ones as a scar adorned his right eye. She recognized him as the alpha of alphas. She wasn't sure why he was here, but lord was she glad that she feasted her eyes upon his face and build. His hair was silky brown as it was slightly messy and ruffled, hiding his yellow eyes subtly, giving him a dangerous look. A sharp scar ran over the corner of his mouth, Isolabella's eyes had very innocently traveled over his kissable lips. She had never felt like kissing someone as she had right now, but of course, she shouldn't be doing that.
A red tint traveled over her face as she was the first looking away from his in tense gaze. From his built tan body and skin, the two fangs as he licked over them when she looked at his lips was a give away that he was a werewolf without even knowing he was Alpha Dante Darcy.
A hint of men's cologne that Isolabella had to control the urge to roll her eyes back at over how amazing it smelled hit her senses. But before she knew who it was, Abaddon had picked her up and flung her on his shoulder, carrying her away from the man on the opposite room that she was close to eyeraping.
Alpha Dante's jaw hardened, his broad shoulders were tense and his fists clenched. But he couldn't do anything, this was a peaceful ground, he couldn't beat the man that carried the beautiful girl away.
Isolabella groaned as she hit Abaddon's butt with a fist which in return Abaddon smirked and told her,
"Real cute. My turn?"
Isolabella's eyes widened. She always fought with Abaddon and he played dirty. He would hit her places that he know was ticklish.
Isolabella quickly shook her head side to side. Finally, Abaddon pulled her down and carried her princess style. He gave her a glare,
"Should I be telling Ammon what you're doing?"
Isolabella tried to play dumb. Her eyes looked at his left ear, staring at the piercings on it. Isolabella thought that his piercings were cool, she used to try and pull the dangling ones from it. It usually left Abaddon groaning in pain, but he let her do it nevertheless. He didn't have the heart to tell her to stop.
"Don't avoid me, Bella." he murmured; he loves using that nickname and he was the only one using it. They all knew it was specific to him and no one else dared to use it. Even if he was the weakest sin among all of the other sins, he was still the strongest among every other species. He really did think that she was beautiful, hence the nickname.
Then he whispered, getting closer to her ear with a wide grin, stretching his red lips to show off his perfectly straight teeth. Isolabella wondered if he ever had braces or he was blessed because he was one of the sins.
" Better yet, why don't I tell your dear old papa?"
Isolabella hated when Lucifer, her papa, was involved with the boys that she thought were handsome. He would do a full check on the males, making sure to not miss anything on them, then he would show Isolabella the records. For some reason, the men she found handsome were all bad men and dangerous. At that time when Abaddon found out, he murmured 'I bet she would've liked me better if I was one as well.' only to be hit against his head by Lucifer. Isolabella had smiled at him and told him 'But I love you'. He had blushed and went off without a word, Isolabella didn't see him for a few days.
"N-No need for that Aba. I-I'm a big girl. I can take c-care of myself." she announced with finality in her voice despite the stuttering. When she was younger, she didn't know how to pounce his name so Aba was stuck with her as he called her Bella.
He frowned as he glared down at her.
"You are still a little girl. You don't know what we know, I promise you, I just want the best for you, Bella. He is Alpha Dante, he does not play around and he is the worst man you could have looked at the way you looked at" his frown deepened at the thought of Isolabella looking at him how he had secretly wished for her to look at. He wasn't his sister and he always rejected calling her his sister. His father may have taken care of her like a father would, but she is not his daughter. Isolabella had tried to convince him that they are siblings, but he refused which had caused a huge fight between them. Days of Isolabella's silent treatments and Abaddon's frowns went on till Belphegor had tried to make them understand each other's perspectives. The war between the two had been called as a truce. Isolabella understood that no matter how hard she tried, he will never accept her as a sister, which had caused her to cry her eyes out at night only to be pacified by Abaddon, telling her he would be anything else, pleading her, just not a brother.
Isolabella humphed at Abaddon, not liking how protective he was over her just like the others. She never understood why he was so protective if he didn't accept her as a sibling like the others. And Abaddon never told her why.
Abaddon set her down in front of her class as they both strolled in, he made sure to stick close by her. Isolabella looked around for an empty seat only to be pulled back by him, settling both of them on two empty chairs, sharing their little space. She always thought that the corner they both had was their corner of 'heaven' which only made Abaddon groan and Isolabella giggle.
Abaddon pulled his book out before Isolabella had the chance to. He liked having Isolabella write her notes on his stuff. Isolabella thought he was in it for the grades, but he couldn't care less. He sat back with a satisfied smirk as he watched her scowled face as she turned the pages on his chamistry book. It was her least favorite subject and she only got a B plus in it while all of the others were all A plus.
Isolabella looked up around the room, the other female creatures silently glared at her. For some reason no matter how much she explained that they are best friends, no one was convinced. The girls had hearts in their eyes for Abaddon. Some of the other female creatures got so excited that they would half shift when they saw him. Isolabella would only scrunch up her nose at the thought of her closest person around those creatures. They had Soulmate out there somewhere, how could they get excited at the thought of another.
Isolabella sighed, she wanted a Soulmate too. But devils didn't have them. Anyone from hell didn't have one which had made her very sad. Her brothers all tried to cheer her up, but she cried harder saying that they would never experience what the other creatures experienced. They all had fallen silent only for Abaddon to hit the back of her neck and telling her no one actually cared about that.
Secretly they did, but they didn't want to say so. They didn't want to see their little angel in hell feel more upset for them. They never had experienced someone being upset for them, so they really didn't know how to react. But later on they all took her on different dates. Saying that at least that's how humans do it. They go on dates, so to make her feel better, they showed her their way of having fun in their free time.
Abaddon rested his head against Isolabella's arm as she tried to take notes. Rolling her eyes, she switched her pen to the other hand and began writing with that. Lucifer had taught her to write with both of her hands.
Out of nowhere the room quieted down. Isolabella raised her head, pushing her big glasses back a bit as they had fallen. She always wore them when she took notes. It made her focus better.
Her eyes zeroed on the attractive man. Alpha Dante. Her cheeks heated up as she looked over his broad shoulders and chest. Taking in his big biceps, his veiny arms where the veins weren't too bulging. She licked her lips as they had suddenly gotten dry at the sight of his dangerous glare. She didn't know what she had done, but he was glaring at her and frankly, it slightly scared her. But just like her papa taught her, she didn't look away. She looked him back in his eyes. The only role they played in the academy was a visitor and a student. Not an alpha and a devil.
Her eyes widened as Abaddon pulled her arm slightly to bring her out of her daze with a frown. His perfect eyebrows had scrunched up as his violet eyes looked at her calculatingly then back at the alpha.
"Good morning, I am going to be your chemistry professor from now on."
Abaddon's violet eyes had shifted color, going to a darker purple. Isolabella knew that wasn't a good sign. So she made poked him slightly, whispering that he should stop glaring at his teacher.
Dante glared back at Abaddon with the same amount of hate. The class was too scared to even dare to look up. The only ones that could look were the angels and the devils. The alpha had too much power emitting from him.
Abaddon closed his eyes as he whispered to Isolabella,
"Don't get close to him, he isn't good for you."
Isolebella looked at him funny. But she still tried to reassuringly smile at him. She rarely hugged or kissed Abaddon because the contact always seemed to tense him up for a while. She once got so excited over a gift he got her that she kissed his cheek. He did not recover for a day.
Isolabella groaned as she also remembered her first kiss. When they were 16, Abaddon wished her a happy Christmas, they never celebrated Christmas for obvious reasons, but they tried to make hell as homy as they could for the little girl. They tried to give her the normal home she had deserved. And that night, he woke her up because he was excited to show her the Christmas tree they put up. When she saw it, she got so excited that she went in for a kiss. Abaddon was confused, and looked directly at Isolabella. And Isolabella always closed her eyes when she planted a kiss on her brothers' cheeks. So, she ended up accidentally kissing his lips. She didn't know if that was a bad thing, and only smiled brightly at Abaddon. But it was both of their first kisses. Abaddon couldn't get his voice out and instead wheezed out an 'excuse me' and left the room. It took him a month to recover and relax around her again. Later on Ammon told Isolabella that you should only kiss someones lips if you love them, she said 'should I kiss your lips too?' only for Ammon to scrunch his nose up and say 'no, please'. Lucifer himself had to sit her down and explain what type of love they had meant. Every since then, she found out baout love, sex and kisses. It may or may have slightly traumatized her back then.
As her cheeks flared up even more, she looked at the board, trying to not look at the beautiful godlike structured man in front of her. He was her teacher now, it's weird. Maybe.
She shook her head as she completely focused her mind on the lesson that he had explained in his deep velvety voice. It took alot of concentration to focus on the lesson more than his voice. Then out of nowhere he asked her
"What is your name"
Her eyes widened as she pushed her hair behind her ear.
"Isolabella Lucem Ferre"
He raised a perfectly structured eyebrow. As his full lips, the upper one adorned with a cupids bow, was fighting back a smirk. He looked into her eyes, his own yellow eyes fighting between brown and yellow. He pushed his head back slightly as he pushed his hair back to push it away from his face, only to be bothered with the silky strands of his brown hair again.
"What is the lightest gas, Isolabella"
Isolabella shivered at how pleasantly her name rolled on his tongue, but she also got excited because she had made the mistake before between helium and hydrogen. But now she didn't remember which one was the right or the wrong one. She tried to think harder but only got nervous under his mischievous eyes.
"Heliumgen"
She whispered, but it was only picked up by Alpha Dante and Abaddon. Abaddon panicked as he saw the alpha's smirk actually taking over his red lips, showing his werewolf fangs.
"What was that?"
Before she mumbled Helium, Abaddon tapped on her notes, finding the word Hydrogen. She silently thanked Abaddon with her eyes. She couldn't use telepathy with Abaddon because he refused to have it with her. If he accepted it, he would have admitted that they are related.
"Hydrogen"
She smiled as her heart slowed down. Silently thanking her papa for his smart sons.
"Meet me after class. Alone."
He finalized anger evident in his voice. She didn't know what she had done and everyone was just as confused as her. They didn't question why, it was a bad thing to be called into a professor's office. You've really fucked up if you do.
Isolabella sat back down groaning as Abaddon's eyes had completely taken the shade of a very dark purple as he gripped the table, glaring at alpha Dante.
Isolabella thought 'great, just to add more on papa's and older brothers' plates'.
