"Pardon! You're saying that I should import two turtles?" The voice at the other end of the phone gave a positive answer.
I rolled my eyes and sighed to compose myself. "What sort of turtles are they? Are there further notes I should acknowledge?"
The person at the other end of the phone began to list up what should be noted, some unneccessary others that are helpful. Once the long phone call was over and my notes full besides my head, I decided to take a short coffee break before heading on with organizing the transport and custom clearance. What a way to roll off the afternoon, a unique transport of two turtles alive.
I don't really want to know how stern the customs will be upon this transport. Secondly I don't know much of turtles, how should I pack them at best? A cage? A box or rather a tank? Although it should be delivered directly to a private person, I'll contact the zoo to avoid disaster however possible. Although I did ask the person on the phone but it did not help much.
After my short break I called the zoo. They were helpful and knew more than I thought, because I was prepared to call the customs to avoid any trouble, however possible.
Suddenly a colluege of mine places in front of me a folder that I should prepare, a full loaded lorry with various goods from England arriving here soon for customs clearance.
Now I need to decide what is urgent? The turtles or the lorry arriving very soon? With a sigh to clear my mind I turned to the lorry and started to prepare everything for the customs.
That's the hecktic life of a shipper. Spontaneously organize this and that and the transport here has gone all wrong and the customs are checking over there more detailed and cautious than planned. Although annoying, it is exactly that what makes the job exciting and keeping my mind creative yet flexible.
During lunch I often find myself listening to music and write on a story. Lately just returned from Scotland still have the Scotish culture lingered in my mind. Listening to celtic folk music and write on two unique scotsmen right after the Glencoe massacre.
At home awaits more things to be done before I can set into writing, such as household, cooking, sports and homework to be done. Sometimes even sewing due to my cosplay deadlines and learning the script for theater. All in all a busy life but that's what I wanted, most of them are things that I like doing.
Astoundingly I find my way through to win some time to relax and plan few things for the future such as a travel to Wales in 1-2 years.608Please respect copyright.PENANA6hM9CfSDCt
