FROZEN AND THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK
Chapter 4: Cats, Demons, Princesses and Witches
Fornicare Van Horne was drinking hot chocolate with a pinch of salt while listening patiently (he had no choice) as Alexandra, Jane and Sukie explained the details of their relationship with their brother Daryl.
“Daryl never told us he had a younger brother," said Alexandra, holding her black hair in frustration.
“I'm actually the big brother. Don't be fooled by appearances, remember that we are not human but demons.”
“You told us you have an art gallery in New York," said the redheaded Janee. “Well, your brother told us he had a friend who ran one in that city.”
“Typical of my brother," Fornicare grumbled, "never mentioning our family relationship to anyone.”
“But we're even now, right?” wanted to know Sukie.
“I know it sounds terrible, but I believe the version you guys gave me. But all these problems would have been avoided if my brother had not been summoned.”
"As for you... Princess Elsa, Princess Anna. I'm sorry, sometimes I get carried away by my temper. We're even too, right?”
“Yes, no problem," said Elsa, but she still had a frown on her face.
“Of course," said Anna, who forced a smile. “Now, could you explain to us about the cats?”
“Cats are on every plane of existence. They are the guardians of the underworld and powerful demons like me are assigned one. They are like a kind of custodian who controls and watches over us so that we do not try to harm humans if we ever escape from hell.”
“You, a powerful demon? But if you were defeated by a couple of cats," sneered Elsa.
“They had sharp fangs and claws! Besides, they're magic cats. My brother had one of these cats as a custodian, but the crafty one gave him the slip somehow, so he moved in with me.”
"This orange is called Gold, and the bluish grey is called Silver. Come on, guys, enough with the acting, it doesn't make sense anymore. “
The cats exchanged glances and seeing the group of women, they began to talk.
“Gold," said the blue-gray cat.
“Silver," said the bright orange cat.
“No, it's the other way around," he says. “You're Gold, and you're Silver, you can't be confused, if even your names match your fur.”
The cats again looked at each other and again addressed the group.
“Gold?” The bluish-gray cat was pointed at himself.
“Silver?” the bright orange cat did the same.
“No, it's the other way around. The opposite way, do you understand me!”
“Gold!” said the blue-gray cat very happily and raising his paw.
“Silver!” His partner did the same thing.
The poor Fornicare put his palm against his face and then shook his head.
“Girls, I'd better go to the kitchen and put more salt in my chocolate," excused Fornicare, and as soon as he left the huge room, the cats started laughing.
“We're going to drive him crazy.”
“True, my friend, high five.”
The cats clashed their paws and then realized that all the women were staring at them with their eyes open like plates.
A pair of "miaus" and "nyas" came out of their muzzles as they began to play like ordinary cats.
“I can't believe it," said Elsa, "how dumb do you think we are, right, Anna?”
“Oh, they're adorable," said Anna, and her sister started to pull her hair out in frustration.
At that moment they heard the sound of a powerful engine. The "brother-in-law" had escaped with the excuse of salt and chocolate.
“I think Fornicare has escaped from her cat guardians," said Alexandra.
“And now who are they going to stay with?” asked Jane.
“Well, I think the answer is obvious, girls," said Sukie, so the three women turned around and saw the cats looking at them funy and maliciously.
