This book is brilliant. The concept is quite similar to that of The Hobbit (another book I love), but it has an extra twist of taking place in an alternate version of the middle ages. The main character, Tiuri, is about to be knighted when he is asked for help. He can hardly refuse, as he is the only one who can help and he should be back in time to be knighted… but there’s no surprise there’s more to the task than Tiuri realized!
