Listening to music,

humming,

Grey was headed to his quiet place.

Although nothing was normal, when he arrived,

his world spiraled out of his comfort zone.

A girl.

A girl sat under the tree,

crying.

Grey did not know what to do.

A quiet soul such as himself was useless,

yet something drew him to be useful.

He waited until she left.

And then it was his turn.

His turn with his quiet place.

Where he took out his sketchbook and began to draw.
