Soft music playing in the background “You got it bad” by Usher. Braydin sets up the candles for the dinner that he invited Aynslee to 2 days ago. With the vegetables cooking in a medium sized pot, he pondered earlier while in a meeting on what he was going to cook. Because just then it dawned on him that he really did not have any to cook for the dinner. So, he had to go and buy something to cook. He browsed up and down the aisle of the local Wal-Mart, trying to figure out what Aynslee likes or if her tastes in food has changed. Did she like complicated foods now or something simple? He didn't know, so he grabbed what he was sure that she loved more than anything else.
When he made it back home with both arms full of groceries, he began cooking putting the steaks in the oven and the vegetables in the pan on low. While that was going he went to take a long shower to clean off the day’s stress and grime. He had no idea what to expect when Aynslee got here.
He leans on the counter in his red and black baggy jogging pants and a white wife-beater, all clean and shaved up; looking at the romantically set table. He had no idea why he was going through all of this. But, it is evident that he still feels for Aynslee. He wasn’t sure when she’d be here but he wanted everything to be ready. He watches the vegetables since they were the last thing he needed to complete the meal. He thought about making spaghetti, his mind drifting to the spaghetti and how it would have been so much easier to make. His doorbell rings knocking out of his thoughts also making his heart jump. He wasn’t even dressed, he opens the door and as if on cue the song changes to “There Goes my Baby” by Usher as Aynslee walks in.
