Ever since she was young, she had had these voices in her head. A constant competition in her brain between two sides of the same coin. One tried to convince her to do the right thing, be the better person and live a life led by light and love. The other was a dark and evil whisper, the one that instructed her to follow the darkness and temptation that habitually taunted her innocent soul. For an adolescent, she had a surprisingly good handle on the whispers of her overactive brain, weighing the pros and cons of each and, more often than not, leaning towards the angelic voice for advice. But as she grew older, it grew harder to keep control. Situations changed, and her perspective of good and evil shifted. The voices grew louder and louder, both arguments too much for her to regulate. Eventually, the voices drowned her, and she became completely and utterly torn between both sides. She lived the rest of her life in that awkward space, portraying attributes of both voices. In a way, she believed that she had won; she had found a way to remain in control of her life while not completely dismissing the advice from her brain. But she dangled on a very dangerous edge; fall one way, and her life would be perfect, filled with love and hope. But fall the other way, and she'd be drowned, completely taken over by evil, temptation, and envy. She had to be careful. The battle of good and evil feuded in her head, but there she stayed, in the in-between. 246Please respect copyright.PENANAkfvkShnHyk
