These flowers, they bloomed in a sacred ground,

where memories echoed in whispers profound.

A cemetery of dreams, of love's shattered plight,

where once vibrant hopes had dimmed their light.

In a garden where shadows dance, I stood,

with a bouquet of flowers, both delicate and good.

But my heart was a headstone of doubts and fears,

as I hesitated, lost in a pond of tears.

Each petal bore witness to a story untold,

of love once cherished, now silenced and cold.

And yet, they flourished amidst sorrow's abyss,

like phoenixes rising, from ashes of bliss.

I pondered the paradox, the conflicting idea,

of life's vibrant hues on graves that lay here.

Should I offer these blossoms, tinged with despair,

to someone who knew not the burdens they bear?
