Today I managed to sneak into the local library simply to cram in a bit of studying before the next raid. Raids typically involve folks from neighboring towns gathering in places with no existing local group. For instance in West Hollywood the group is known as the Hollies and in Culver City, it's called the Clan of Cults. I've declined numerous group invitations because they simply don't appeal to me. It's akin to dealing with mindless brutes who'd rather engage in physical combat with zombies, risking infection instead of using their brains to evade them. Dealing with such individuals is truly exasperating. I definitely thrive better when I'm on my own.
