Once upon a time in the quaint town of Willow Creek, a sweet girl named Lex was packing her bag. At just twelve years old, she had a spirit as bright as the sun, and she was excited to go on a family trip to the quaint Willow Creek Hotel. Her twin brother, Scoot, was already in the living room stirring up mischief, while their loving father, Kia, and their devoted mother, Mari, prepared for the journey.
As they arrived at the hotel, the very air felt different, like it was charged with secrets waiting to be told. The hotel loomed large, its old wooden beams creaking, and a faint wind howled through the tightly shut windows. Lex felt a thrill of excitement mixed with an unease that quickly faded when they entered.
Once inside, the family was greeted by the hotel manager, an elderly woman with piercing blue eyes that flickered like candle flames. “Welcome, dear ones. Be mindful of room 213. It is not for the faint-hearted,” she warned with a smile that never reached her eyes. Scoot giggled, whispering tales of ghosts and ghouls, while Lex shrugged it off, her curiosity piqued.
Later that night, while their parents chatted with other guests, Lex and Scoot wandered away from the bustling lobby. The dimly lit hallway seemed to beckon them toward room 213. Scoot, the mischievous twin, nudged Lex, “Let’s see what the old hag is hiding!”
With a shared grin, they approached the door, which stood slightly ajar as if inviting them in. Lex hesitated, sensing a chill creep down her spine, but Scoot led the way, pushing the door open wider. Inside, the room was shrouded in shadows. Faded furniture sat at odd angles, and the wallpaper peeled like old skin.
Suddenly, the door slammed shut behind them, and the air thickened. Lex's heart raced as a whisper filled the room, soft yet haunting, calling her name, “Lex… Lex…” She glanced at Scoot, who was pale now, his grin replaced by fear.
“Maybe we should go back?” Lex suggested, but the whisper grew louder, echoing off the walls. With a courage she didn’t know she possessed, she stepped forward, drawn to the source of the sound – an old mirror that had been covered with a dusty cloth.
Scoot tugged at her sleeve, “Lex, don’t!” he warned, but she couldn’t help herself. She grasped the cloth and pulled it away. The mirror glimmered in the darkness as shadows danced across its surface. Lex stared into the reflection, and what she saw sent a shiver down her spine – a swirling mist, filled with forgotten faces, all pressing against the glass, trying to escape.
“Help us…” they whispered.
Before Lex could react, the mist spilled out of the mirror, enveloping her like a cold fog. She felt herself being pulled into the glass, and just as she cried out for her brother, darkness swallowed her whole. Scoot screamed, pounding on the mirror, but the glass was solid and cold as ice, trapping Lex within.
Days turned into weeks. Kia and Mari searched for their sweet daughter, but no trace of Lex was found. The townsfolk whispered about the haunted room in Willow Creek Hotel – the place where the girl who loved adventure had vanished without a trace.
As time passed, the hotel continued to stand, holding its secrets tightly within the walls, with an empty room forever echoing Lex’s name, a reminder of what lay beyond the ordinary – a chilling tale told to every new visitor.
And whenever the wind howled through the town, it carried the faint sound of her laughter, mingled with the whispers of the lost souls captured in the mirror, forever waiting… forever lost.
Some say the haunted room was a decoy and a portal to the other side some say the old lady was a evil spirit who lored young souls into the room and fed off there laughter and souls who knows what happened no one knows except scoot but he changed he is now more fearful and scared will he go back to being his old self or is he to scared
