After Corvus nodded, Silverwing said: ''Sure, you're No.3!'' Julia gasps: ''You don't even count me in! How disrespectful!''. She made a fake fall as if she got hurt. Maggie looks at Julia, tilting her head to the side. She looked as if she was... Confused. ''I thought you were in already...'' she says, thinking but quickly starts paying attention to the fight. Julia chuckles. ''I am No.4! Have a taste of my power!'' she yells sprinting at Mujika. ''Sometimes... I am jealous of how you look... The battlefield is full of fire... its spreading further every second... At this rate... ''Yuro is behind us... The fire is going th-,'' Maggie thinks. She climbs off Silverwing's back and runs to the fire, going in Yuro's direction. She runs into the wall made from fire. It's starting to burn her body, but she keeps running. She spots T-Ray looming behind Yuro, his hand poised to strike. "LEAVE MY BROTHER ALONE!" Maggie screams, her voice raw with fury. T-Ray flinches, momentarily startled, as Maggie glides toward him on a trail of ice. With all her strength, she punches him square in the face, sending him staggering backward. He wobbles before losing his balance and falling to the ground. Maggie wastes no time, crouching next to Yuro and attempting to lift him. "He's so... heavy!" she thinks, her arms trembling under his weight. "Fast!" she mumbles in alarm as she notices T-Ray already back on his feet, stalking toward her. He closes the distance in an instant, standing menacingly beside her. With a cruel smirk, T-Ray delivers a powerful kick to her stomach. The force sends her flying into a nearby tree, the impact sharp and brutal. Blood trickles from a gash on her head as she slumps to the ground. Maggie groans, struggling to push herself upright. But before she can fully stand, T-Ray grabs her face and slams it against the rough bark of the tree. "Who are you to interfere, huh?!" he shouts, his voice dripping with malice. Maggie's vision blurs. She opens her right eye weakly and thinks, I can't see... Her thoughts swirl. Brother...! Summoning every ounce of her will, she forces her eyes open and crawls toward Yuro, her battered body screaming in protest. She doesn't even notice T-Ray approaching again. He kicks her once more, sending her tumbling. Her back crashes into another tree with a sickening thud. Pain surges through her body... bones cracking, her ribs screaming in agony. Blood drips from her mouth as her wide eyes stare unblinkingly at the sky. T-Ray strides over, placing his boot on the back of her head and pressing her face into the dirt. "Eat grass, crazy bastard!" he sneers, grinding her head into the ground. He grabs a fistful of her blood-matted hair, yanking her upright. Maggie's limp body dangles in his grasp, bruised and bleeding, her life hanging by a thread. Pinning her to the tree, he holds her hair tightly, his free hand balling into a fist. He punches her in the face, her head snapping back with the force. Maggie's eyes flutter shut from the impact. T-Ray pulls a knife from his pocket, the blade gleaming menacingly. He presses it to her neck, close enough to draw a thin line of blood. "Br...other..." Maggie mumbles faintly, her voice barely audible. T-Ray grins wickedly, pressing the blade closer. Blood trickles down her neck as he prepares to deliver the final blow. Before he can finish, an unseen force yanks him away, his grip on Maggie breaking. Corvus was standing behind him, his eyes glowing red and he was drooling. He was towering over T-Ray.''Who gave you permission to hurt my friend...' he says, his voice deepand he looked at T-Ray like he was going to eat him. T-Ray felt the chills down his spine. His face turned red, clearly scared, and anxious. T-Ray lets the knife fall, his hands trembling. Maggie falls on the ground, not moving.Before T-Ray can talk, Corvus kicks him in the stomach, sending him flying to a tree, the tree breaks as T-Ray crashes onto the tree. ''That's how painful it was to her,'' he says, his eyes glowing even more. ''Even though she was hurt... You continued hitting her,'' he says, anger boiling inside of him. His eyes disappeared, now just showing two red circles which were glowing brighter than anything. ''Pay for it with your life...' he says. He walks closer to T-Ray, with a black demonic aura surrounding him. ''You have lived a great life. Let's see if it is the same in Hell.'' Corvus says, having no mercy. T-Ray holds his hands in front of his head. Corvus grins and grabs his hands, putting them down and crouches. T-Ray's eyes widen, his whole body starts trembling. ''G-g... Go a-,'' before T-Ray can finish his sentence, Corvus' hand is on T-Ray's neck. Even though Corvus isn't putting any pressure on it, T-Ray is still getting choked. Corvus' grin widens, enjoying killing him at his own pace. T-Ray coughs, his eyes turning white slowly. Corvus lets go when T-Ray stops breathing. He walks to Maggie and crouches next to her. ''Hey... Can you hear me...?'' he asks, his voice not above a whisper. He hesitates but lifts her in bride-style since she didn't answer. ''Rest... I got you both...'' he whispers while walking to Yuro and gently putting him on his back. Maggie opened her eyes... she was tired. ''Sorry... I was not much of use on the battlefield... I'll get stronger and protect the clan...'' she murmurs. Corvus' eyes widened when she said that. ''She... Gave her life in exchange for the clan and her brother... ''I will kill them,'' he says, his skin tone turning crimson red. He shreds his shirt, showing his muscular torso. He walks to Silverwing and whispers in his ear. Silverwing nods and faces Fianna. Corvus walks to Arnold. He stretches his arms, cracks his neck, and stands firmly.''Devil's Terror...!'' he yells. Red blasts appear from his fingertips, going at Arnold with great speed. The half misses, but those were decoys. Two hit his fingers. Two on his earlobe and one on his heart. He coughs blood. His index and middle finger were cut off, now on the ground. ''What do you taste like?'' Corvus asks, suddenly behind Arnold. He leans to Arnold's neck and sniffs.''Eww... They really defrauded you with that perfume,'' he says, clearly disgusted. ''My favorite thing is the smell of blood... I need blood... Let me take yours,'' he says, it was not a question, it was an order. Arnold turns around before Corvus can hit him... 'Armadillo's Shield!', Arnold yells, making shields appear on his skin, he tumbles back when Corvus hits him. A bit of Arnold's skin was ripped off. ''What can stop me from killing you?'' he asks. Arnold looks at his arms... They were purple already. ''How bad can this get...'' he thinks. He looked at Fianna... Silverwing threw Marco on Xian and made a white parallel line in the air. The line did not look normal... It was the same one he used to cut Xian's spear. He launches it at Marco but... Xian stands in front of him, his arm and a bit of his stomach chopped off. Fianna quickly heals him, just being able to make the bleeding stop. ''You...'' Marco mumbles and dashes towards Silverwing, his eyes turned fully purple, blood coming out of his mouth. He hit Silverwing on his stomach. Silverwing got startled, but did not sprint away. He looks down at Marco, who is punching with all his might. Silverwing lifts Marco up, his hand on Marco's head. He again draws aline in the air, it launches at Marco's forehead. There was a whole hole now... Silverwing lets Marco fall on the grass. It was not like he cared if Marco got hurt anyway. He looks at Dante, his wings are spread now. He sprints at Xian and flies high. ''Have a wonderful time in Heaven,'' he says. Pulling Marco to him while standing mid-air. He draws a hole under Marco and Xian. The hole turns yellow, glowing just like his eyes. Xian tries to free himself and his brother, but Silverwing lets go of them... They fall into the hole, disappearing. Dante's eyes widen... 'WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!'' he yells. ''Give them back...'' he orders. Silverwing shakes his head. ''I can't do that. They have arrived already,'' Silverwing explains. Arnold ran to Fianna. He whispered something. Fianna nodded. ''Not now... In a bit we should...'' she answered. Before Corvus hit her, Arnold pushed him away. ''Your fight is with me, friend,'' Arnold says, a grin on his face. Julia's eyes look at Erza's body that is still spreading fire. ''None of us can stop that... It is as if someone keeps adding fuel on the fire,'' she says, looking at Corvus. She appears behind Sonya and does a suplex on her. Sonya's neck cracks, she broke it. Mujika gasps, looking at Sonya who is currently on the ground. ''Crows!'' she yells, a dark aura surrounding her and making crows come from it. Mujika points at Julia and the crows fly to her at a high speed. ''Those look cute...!' Julia says, her eyes shining. One of the crows hit her, letting a wound appear on her cheek. Blood leaks from it, disappearing in her mask. She took her mask and hat off. "Golden cliff!' Julia yells, making a cliff appear out of gold in front of her, the crows bump into it and disappear, their feathers on the ground. Mujika runs to Sonya's body, pulling it away from the fire... Corvus looks at Arnold. ''You're not winning this fight. The victory is ours,'' he says while holding Arnold's arm. Lauren's soul appeared behind him, protecting him from Fianna's kick. Corvus turned around and slapped Fianna, sending her on the fire. He quickly looks back, but Arnold punches him in the face, not letting him look. ''Lion's Claws!'' Arnold yells, scratching Corvus' stomach, 3 scars appearing on it. The blood that leaked from it quickly disappeared, so did the scars. ''You're weak,'' Corvus said, clearly looking down on him. Silverwing was yelled at by Dante, but he didn't care. ''You can just ask if you want to go to them. I will gladly do that,'' Silverwing says, smiling at Dante. Dante clenches his fist. ''Teleportation's Carrousel!'' he yells, making Silverwing teleport anywhere and making him dizzy. When the ability stops working, Silverwing comes out. ''Woah, you sent me to so many countries, it was AMAZING!'' Silverwing says, clearly impressed. Fianna starts drawing. The same gun she killed Elijah with, but a larger version. She throws it at Arnold, signaling him to shoot Corvus. The gun was already fully loaded. It was full of ability dampeners. Fianna holds her hand up, signaling to aim correctly. ''Fire...!'' she yells, a wide grin on her face. Arnold pulls on the trigger; all the ability dampeners get fired at Corvus but... When they came in contact with Corvus' body, they fell on the ground. Corvus looks down at the ability dampeners, the purple drink leaked out of the vial, spreading on the ground. Erza stopped screaming; her body wasnt there, only bones were. The fire kept spreading out of it. She was dead for sure now. Arnold's eyes widen when the ability dampeners don't hit Corvus, and work as planned. Fianna looks at Corvus. ''They're immune to ability dampeners too...? What a hassle,'' Fianna says, rolling her eyes. Arnold backs off but he bumps into... Lauren's soul grabbed Arnold's shoulders, not letting him walk away. ''The finishing blow. Do it, Corvus,'' Lauren says, wanting Corvus to finish Arnold off here. Corvus walks to Arnold, every step sending chills down everyone's spine. His aura was just... more than intimidating. It was a nightmare... No one could escape it. Corvus leans to Arnold. ''Last word?'' Corvus asks. Arnold: 'I h-,'' before he could finish his sentence, Corvus pulls his heart out and eats it up. ''I said word, not words, weakling,'' Corvus says, a hint of sarcasm in his voice. Lauren's soul lets go of Arnold. Arnold's body falls on the fire, burning to ashes. Fianna gasps, shocked by how everyone died. ''T-this can't be possible...'' she mumbles, falling on the ground. Julia looks at Mujika. ''You two really look alike! I wish I were like you two! It is such a shame that your lives are going to be a waste...'' she says in a sad way. She smirks and looks at Sonya, who stood up again. Julia sprints at Mujika, planning to kick her. Julia's eyes shine.''Fight me!'' she yells, clearly enthusiastic. In a blur of motion, Mujika crouches low and sprints backward. Sonya mirrors her movements, her focus sharp. Sonya clenches her fist tightly, and Mujika swiftly places her hand beside it. "Celeste Fusion!" they shout in unison, their voices resonating with power. A deafening explosion reverberates through the air, and a massive cloud of steam engulfs the area. The ground trembles as the energy surges, its presence palpable. As the steam begins to clear, a new figure emerges where Mujika and Sonya once stood. A girl with striking white, straight hair now stands tall, her presence commanding. One of her eyes gleams a brilliant yellow, while the other glows a deep, piercing purple. Behind her float four glowing yellow orbs and four shimmering purple ones, orbiting her like celestial bodies. Her expression remains blank, detached from the chaos around her. She wears an elegant yellow dress that seems to radiate light. Across her neck, the name "Celeste" is etched in bold black letters, a mark of her identity. Celeste lowers her gaze to Julia, her aura both serene and menacing. "Who... are you?" Julia says, her voice carrying a hint of curiousity. "I am Celeste," the figure replies, her tone monotone yet heavy with power. "The fusion of light and dark. The one who turns your downfall into reality." Her words hang in the air, chilling and absolute, as her unyielding gaze locks onto Julia. Julia's eyes shine.''Fight me!'' she yells, clearly enthusiastic. Celeste looks at her and nods.''As you wish,'' she says. Julia beams. ''Hit me with all your strength, show me your power!'' she yells, her grin widening even more. Celeste looks at her, frowning. ''Weirdo,'' she says, referring to Julia. Julia falls dramatically. ''That's such a rude comment! I am so hurt!'' she says, pretending to wipe a tear away. Celeste smiles at her. ''Glorious Darkness...'' she mumbles. The orbs behind her start moving in a circle. It stops after a few seconds. Her finger lands on the second yellow orb. ''Lucky spin...'' she says. ''Sword of Glory!'' she yelled, making the orb her finger land on open. A light sword appears out of it. ''Julia...'' Silverwing says. ''Take care, it might get a little dangerous now...'' he says, a serious expression on his face. Julia looks at him with puppy eyes. ''Please... I just want to have some fun with her...!'' she says. Silverwing facepalms but nods after. Julia's eyes light up and she beams. She climbs on a tree. She looks down at Celeste and gestures her to try and catch her. Celeste makes the Sword of Glory even bigger and swings it at Julia. The branch Julia was standing on got cut off. Julia jumps off the branch right after Celeste cut it off. The sword disappeared... ''Glorious Darkness,'' Celeste says, making the orbs spin again. It lands on the first yellow one.''Fists of Light...'' she mumbled. Around her fists is a yellow light covering it, the light is in a wing shape, making it hard to see where it is coming from. Julia looks at her with amazement. Celeste's yellow eye glows. She dashes forward, punching Julia in her stomach. Julia gets sent flying back, a bit of blood leaking from her mouth. She grins while wiping the blood away with her hand. Celeste smiles at her. ''Four more shots to go,'' she says. Celeste gets in position. She appears in front of Julia, punching her in the face. Julia does not fly back this time; she kicks Celeste in her neck. Celeste's eyes widen, but she quickly regains her composure. Celeste: 'Alright... I see how it is.'' Celeste hits Julia 3 more times, after that, the light around her fist vanishes. "Glorious Darkness,'' she mumbles. This time, her finger lands on the fourth purple one. Celeste: ''Darkness' Place...''. Suddenly, the grey sky was surrounded with black fog, blocking everyone's view. Celeste walks around Julia, waiting for a time to strike. Julia closes her eyes for a moment, but then... Celeste hits her, making her stumble and fall on the ground. Julia's ears perk up, now hearing Celeste's footsteps loud and clear. She stands up and crawls to the direction where Celeste was walking. When Celeste almost passed by... ''Golden Base!'' she yells, making a house appear out of gold, Celeste and Julia were the only one in it. ''Glorious darkness...'' Celeste mumbles as the orbs spin again. It lands on the first purple one. ''Oh... Hazy souls...'' she says. Four pitch black souls appear next to her. It looked as if they were moving... even though they were standing still... Julia squints her eyes, trying to see better. They were really standing still but... This place felt haunted. As if they were everywhere, watching her from every corner. Julia feels someone behind her, but no one was there. The souls were smiling at her. Julia hears people laughing, she looks at Celeste... A wide grin was on Julia's face. Celeste: ''Kill her. Make sure she doesn't even make it out alive.'' Celeste sits on a chair, looking down on Julia. The souls disappeared... No, Julia thought they disappeared. They were there, but the thing was, they are invisible. She bumps into someone, getting pinned to the wall. Celeste smirks, clearly enjoying seeing her suffering. Julia gets kicked right in the stomach; she falls on the ground. ''Use the blast...'' Celeste mumbles. From the corner, a black circle forms there, a dangerous aura around it. The blast fires at her with superspeed, hitting her lever. Julia winces in pain, her base disappears due to her injury. It has been a while since she got injured. The house disappears. She looked at Corvus and Silverwing... Corvus was now fighting Fianna while Silverwing was trying to heal Yuro and Maggie. Dante wasn't there... Arnold's body and Erza's bones weren't there, neither was Noriaki's body. Even though the fire was still spreading somehow, Corvus didn't pay attention to it anymore. Julia looks back at Celeste. ''Glorious darkness...'' she mumbled. Her finger lands on the third yellow one, Celeste smirks. ''This is great...!'' she yells. ''Angel's Rain!'' she says, her voice loud. Rain drops appear but... It wasn't rain at all. It was yellow... The more it fell on Julia, the more she started burning. Julia screams... 'THIS ISN'T THE END!!!'' she yells at Celeste. It stopped...Celeste's eyes widened as Dante pulled her in his teleportation. ''We must retreat... Fianna's orders,'' he whispered. Celeste nodded while Dante brought her to where T-Ray, Erza, Noriaki and Arnold were. Celeste looks back at Dante.''But why isn't Fianna here yet...?'' she asks. ''Not yet... She told me to bring everyone here first. Well, I'll get her now, see you,'' he answers, disappearing from his portal again. Corvus looks at Fianna. ''You hurt everyone... Devils are not evil...! You even killed Lauren for your OWN sake. "Why did you do it...?!'' he yells at her. Fianna smirks and shrugs. ''It was great fighting against you,'' she says when Dante arrives. ''Let us meet another time, Monster,'' she says. Dante's portal didn't open... After a few seconds, it finally did. Before Fianna got in, Corvus ran to her... ''You will NOT escape without MY permission,'' his eyes were red, each step making it look like the ground was moving. Fianna was halfway in... ''Poisonous Claw!'' he yells, scratching the nape of Fianna's neck before she disappeared into the portal... Corvus screams out of rage. In the portal, Dante looks at Fianna, a hint of concern in his eyes. Her eyes were wide, her pupils bigger than ever. She was panting... Dante looked at Mujika as the portal brought them to their destination. They had managed to get away... It was a tie. ''So... Where should we go...?'' Dante asks. Mujika lifts the other heroes' dead bodies...''The heroes' authorities. Let us hold a conference about the fight... And... Replace the heroes' exam. We need new heroes now, or it will be humanity's loss...'' Fianna says, still terrified. The image of Corvus when he ran to her... This was even worse than Arnold. She takes a deep breath. This didn't feel right. It felt like a loss and a win at the same time. Julia puts her hand on Corvus' shoulder, trying to comfort him. Julia: ''They gave up... But remember, we did our best to get rid of them, Corvus... We can train and awaken first, then we can kill them, there will be... Another chance.'' Silverwing buries his face in his knees, disappointed in himself. After everything... He couldn't even fight properly. The fire stopped spreading, and a silence fell, only the sound of the wind could be heard. The morning sunlight casted a glow on Corvus' face as he was staring at the sky. ''I should have done better,'' he thought to himself. Silverwing's eyes fall on Elijah's body. ''If I was stronger...'' he says, the wind blocking anyone from hearing him. Maggie and Yuro were still on the ground. Yuro's heart was put back to place by Corvus. Maggie was still bleeding due to her injuries. ''We lost,'' Corvus mumbles, no one heard him. He looks at his wounded allies... ''I will **** them up the next time I see those bastards,'' he said, his face full of anger. I will get stronger... They will see the full extent of my powers... I will go even beyond my limits... I will train, until I cannot go further anymore. A pitch-black aura surrounded him, and it always will. All he is focused on from now on is... Destroying the world.
