A month passed, Lucielle and I became good friends. We shared two classes that I do not have with Audrey and Lily. Our classes would be spent goofing around or sort-of working together ('cause when we do, we'd still end up goofing around that we'll end up finishing nothing).

After the subject, Justine would always be out of our room waiting for Lucielle and together we would either walk towards the cafeteria or home, depending on our schedule (or depending if one of us decided to ditch class). I never really talked to Justine much; I'm still uncomfortable sometimes. There are times when they'd attempt to engage me with their conversation, where I would (sometimes) join in and be awkward or would pretend to be busy with my phone. Yep, I'm really awkward like that.

I would rather be silent, and just observe, well, silently.

Like Justine, as I observed (why does it sounds like I'm doing an experiment?), looks at Lucielle in an entirely different way. Definitely not in a friendly way, but not I'm-about-to-devour-you-whole-without-clothes way either. It is I-like-you-but-I'm-scared-to-be-in-friendzone-so-I'll-just-settle-with-bottling-my-feelings-sigh way. I can see how he pays serious attention in every word that came out of Lucielle's lips, I can see how his eyes would twinkle every time Lucielle chuckles or laughs at his (very unoriginal, very corny) jokes.

Too bad Lucielle's dense as a rock.

Once again, I found myself in Lucielle and Justine's company; they would let me stay outside this place. Said that it's too breezy and I needed to eat.

"You, my girl, need a little exposure with other people." Lucielle added, as Justine nodded along. Cue the eye roll here. Guy's completely whipped. That's why I am now seated across these two people, concentrated on my phone playing Mmm Fingers.

When I got bored (well, more like irritated) playing, I fished out my earphones and closed my eyes as I got lost in music. If you'd ask me if there's anything that I can't not bring whenever I'm going out, that would be my earphones. I simply can't live without it- well, not necessarily live; it's just that I'm uncomfortable without it-I just feel . . . exposed. Like I'm suddenly up for an auction, all there to be scrutinized, to be ridiculed; I feel like they can see my flaws inside and out. Earphones offer me some sort of protection.

My eyes snapped open when I felt several bodies clumsily bumping my chair. There, the seats that were once vacant were being boisterously filled by some guys. I watched as Justine greeted the newcomers as much as they dumped their T-square either on the table, under the table, while some hung on their respective chairs - probably his friends.

My cheeks hurt from the amount of smiling I've done in the past eight minutes as Lucielle introduced me to the newcomers, which consisted of boys (they're not man enough me ha-ha). They continued chattering after the introductions, leaving me all alone- which I'm perfectly fine with. But even with the music blaring on both ears, the noise still penetrated. My head suddenly hurt, and uneasiness washed over me. Safe to say, I never really liked crowded places-and of course the noise that come along with it.

I need fresh air.

"I have to go." I said to no one, particularly. They were busy chatting with each other. Sighing, I stood up and picked up my things. I didn't mind that no one really paid attention to me; I prefer it, actually. It allows me to slip away without anybody noticing.

"Where are you going?" I jumped slightly when I heard the voice and abruptly turned around. Smoker/Library/Intense-Eyed guy was looking at me. A T-square was also draped on his shoulder, messenger bag on the other. He was staring at me rather-surprise surprise!-intensely (or is it just me?). Why the hell is he here?

My question was answered when Justine turned around towards him. "My man! You piece of shit, come sit!" he said. "S'been a while since you last sat with us." He gestured at the vacant seat beside him.

"Yeah. Indeed." The guy, 'my man', off-handedly said and kept his gaze on me. Cue the fan-girl squeal here. I looked away feeling uncomfortable under his gaze, and winced when the noise suddenly became really unbearable.

I need to get away. Fast.
