Scene 5 opens with Officer Rick talking to Mr. Sylus outside
Officer Rick: I’ve already told you countless times, Sylus. The kid’s gonna be fine. He’s just gonna need some stitches and time to recover. What you need to be worried about is whether or not any parents of your students are gonna press charges.
Mr. Sylus: *sighs* I know, sir. I just wish that none of this crazy stuff happened. It’s giving me one hell of a stress overload.
Officer Rick: I wish I could help you there. All I can say is that I’m gonna be here for the rest of the week as promised. You’re lucky this camp ain’t getting shut down or anything. However, wherever those murders happened will be blocked off from other students since they’re legitimate crime scenes.
Mr. Sylus: Whatever will make this place safer, I’m okay with.
Officer Rick: By the way, you don’t happen to know who the killer was, do you?
Mr. Sylus: Not until just a bit ago before you showed up.
Officer Rick: Well, who is it?
Mr. Sylus: That kid that’s in the hospital.
Officer Rick: *gives Mr. Sylus a look* No one suspected it was him before or something?
Mr. Sylus: No one knew about his personality disorder until his accident. Even he was unaware of it because supposedly, his second personality only comes out at night when the kid sleeps.
Officer Rick: *gives a confused look* So, the kid is normal during the day, but becomes a totally different person at night?
Mr. Sylus: Indeed. But the thing is, is that his second personality has the same memories as the kid himself, but the kid has no new memories that his second personality creates. The kid has no recollection of any of those murders.
Officer Rick: How the hell does that even work?
Mr. Sylus: To tell you the truth, I have no fucking clue. I’m more concerned about the kid’s health than anything at the moment.
Officer Rick: Well, all we can do now is make sure no other students get harmed.
Mr. Sylus: *sighs* Yeah.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fernando: *approaches Carrie* Hey, Carrie.
Carrie: *looks at Fernando as he takes a seat next to her at a table* Hey.
Fernando: How’re you doing after last night?
Carrie: To be honest, I don’t know right now.
Fernando: I don’t blame you.
Carrie: This week has been all kinds of fucking insane.
Fernando: I agree… but I mean, we still had fun though, right?
Carrie: *pauses for a moment* Yeah… I actually did still have fun this week.
Fernando: Staying up late watching out for the killer was thrilling!
Carrie: Well, until I got drugged.
Fernando: And I got smacked in the head with a microphone.
Carrie: *snickers* Oh geez. I’m sorry but that honestly sounds ridiculous!
Fernando: *grins and chuckles briefly* Nah, I thought it was ridiculous too.
Carrie: I bet!
Fernando: Oh, Hank asked me the weirdest thing!
Carrie: What was it?
Fernando: He asked me if we were together!
Carrie: Are you fucking serious?!
Fernando: Yeah! Why? You sound surprised.
Carrie: Eleanor asked me the same thing!
Fernando: *chuckles* Oh geez. Those two.
Carrie: Right?!
Fernando: Yeah, Hank was asking me stuff like if I liked you or not and stuff.
Carrie: Well, what’d you answer with?
Fernando: *clears his throat* I… I told him… that I really like you, but was too scared to ask you if you liked me because I was afraid of being rejected.
Carrie: No need to stress out over it anymore.
Fernando: What do you mean by that?
Carrie: I like you too, Fernando.
Fernando: *perks up* What?! Really?!
Carrie: Well, yeah! You’re like the sweetest guy I’ve ever met in my life! Of course, I like you!
Fernando: That’s honestly really relieving to hear.
Carrie: Glad to hear.
Fernando: Hank and Eleanor would be proud!
Carrie: *laughs* Yeah, they would.
Fernando: Speaking of which, where is Eleanor?
Carrie: She’s at the hospital with Hank. She didn’t wanna leave him.
Fernando: They both must be traumatized from what happened last night.
Carrie: That wouldn’t shock me.
Fernando: Yeah.
Carrie: *sighs* I hope Hank will be fine…
Fernando: I overheard Officer Rick tell Mr. Sylus that Hank was gonna be fine.
Carrie: *sighs with relief* That’s good.
Fernando: Yeah, he just needs stitches and time to recover.
Carrie: I still can’t believe Eleanor actually stabbed him…
Fernando: Well, she didn’t know it was Hank until afterward.
Carrie: That’s true.
Fernando: We can’t do much except pray to God that no one else will get hurt for the rest of the week.
Carrie: Yeah, that’s a good idea.
