Love,

what a wonderful,

yet confusing emotion.

We love who we love,

but is that even allowed?

Because the moment someone comes out as anything other than straight,

it’s,

”How can you know? You’re too young!”

or,

”You know that’s a sin, right? You’re going to hell.”

Why can’t we just love and accept others for who they are?

You may say it’s wrong,

that it’s a choice,

that it’s a sin.

But you know what I say?

I say,

Love is love.

And nothing can change that.

IT IS NOT A CHOICE

to be LGBTQ+.

But it is a choice,

that choice to hate and discriminate,

that gets so many killed.

So please,

it’s not them who needs to change.

It’s you.
