Society as a whole didn't mean to, but has become so twisted. As a man I was raised understanding eventually another man will set my value based on how useful I am to him. From there that value will sustain me in someway and anything that presents a opposing viewpoint is crazy, nonsensical, or ideological. Then I'm told I could do anything I want only if I ride on the back of these double standards and relinquish all control accepting the consequences that come and I refused, because almost putting the remote control back together doesn't get you a remote control. I don't want to almost do the right thing, I don't want to almost succeed, I don't want to almost be a better person, and I don't want to almost be put back together.
