I grinned as I walked into the cockpit, and I whistled the tune of an old rock song. Rape Me by Nirvana, it think it was called. But oddly, the cockpit was empty. "Well fuck, where the hell are the crew members, and more importantly, what ship am I on?" I said as I checked the dossier for any records of any recently boarded ships. And I soon found out what ship I was on the A.S.R Outrider. the memories of my best friend Airi flooded back. She went on this ship to find the cause of the Silent Rapture. Even as I begged on my knees for her to stay off the ship, and to join me on something that might not get her driven into the claws of the C.O.I.
She was only a girl when the Silent Rapture happened. I mean she had just turned 15 when the rapture happened. She didn't think that being a smuggler would be a good idea for a future career. She wanted to help the universe, she was a good student. Me on the other hand, I was busy getting high in my dorm, I wanted to be a baroness of the interplanetary narcotic industry.
I managed to piss her of when I said that my life would be better when I didn't have to babysit a girl who had no adventurous spirit, then she told me she would be better off without having to worry about a kleptomaniac who had no respect for her own sanity..

Princess Monika offered me a few thousand credits for the stuff. I didn't understand what was with girls nowadays and Pre rapture cosmetics. With the stars and habitable planets reappearing, they could salvage stuff, in fact Yautja prime had a booming industry for beauty products made by the Hashori.
"Okay... so I can see if Airi is alive, if not, I can nick the perfume from her stuff, and I can jack this piece of shit and run back to Tefnut in the Bastet system." I said before I heard the earsplitting roar of a Yautja.
I got out of the cockpit, and I looked around the hangar, and I saw a odd looking Predator, I could tell that he was injured. So I decided to heal him. After all, my mother taught me to help people, no matter what their species was, no matter whatever their affiliations were. No matter what. And again, this guy was a Yautja. And I wanted to help this guy.
I looked at the predator, and I pulled out my emergency stimpak. And I saw that there was a bullet hole in the side of his chest.
"Hold still bud..." I said as I jammed the stimpak into the wound.
The predator in sign language asked what my name was. And I smiled.
