Personality:
A malevolent deity, Xolotl has no care for the creatures around him unless they're his own dogs. Bitter and cynical, he's not particularly fond of humans, having lived in the shadow of his siblings as they were being glorified and worshipped, even knowing they were just as capable of great evil, but he was always the bad guy. He's especially bitter towards, and jealous of his twin, Quetzalcoatl. Quetzalcoatl was considered beautiful, and he, a monster, so he took the form of one.

Background:
In Aztec myth, Xolotl is the monstrous dog-headed god of the dead, lightning, fire, and the ruler of the underworld. The Aztecs believed heavily in duality, so he's also capable of great good, once being the protector of the sun from his own forces, and thought to have helped his twin defeat the monster Cipactli, and therefore assisted in the creation of the world as we know it. He's considered a dark mirror of creation, constantly warring with his twin. Now however, while still a god of the dead, his work is more like that of a Reaper. He's simply waiting for humanity to drive itself to extinction so he can collect their souls. While he could easily destroy the world himself, he's feeding off the strife and war, and enjoys the chaos. While Quetzalcoatl seeks to save humanity and bring them salvation, Xolotl believes they should just be left to die; as they are causing the destruction of their world themselves.
