"Aaron! Hey Aaron! Are you listening?!" Yako yells as I stare off to space. I quickly snap back to focus and look at Yako.
"Huh? Sorry. Did you say something?" I ask and everyone suddenly quiet down, staring at me in concern.
" We were just asking you about what do you think of the plan to eradicate those rogue supernaturals in Nigdihm." The General say and stare at me in concern.
"Can you repeat the plan to me again?" I ask and the General nod.
" So this is what you need to do, you have to go through the forest on this side-" The General points to the right side of the forest entrance. "-and exit on this side-" The General points at the inhibited side of the town. "to get near the target and terminate the target."
" I think that this is the best plan since you want it to be a stealth mission right, General?" I ask and he gives a slight nod of his head.
"Okay. We all will do it. When are we going?"
"Now" I state at the General in shock.
"Now?! Are you serious?!" The General nod and I just smirk because of the face the General made.
"Okay. Let's go guys." Yako gives me a serious look before nodding and the others takes their cloaks and prepare for the mission.
---------Nigdihm-----------
"Hey Aaron!" A dwarf woman greets me and I smile. "Hey Esmeralda." I greet back and she pulls me to the side.
"Aaron, I heard about the passing of Allen and I want to give my condolences." I smile sadly at her and nod. "Thank you." she nods and takes out a document to give it to me. Inside there are the names of the victims and the name of the target that my team need to eliminate.
"Dvalinn?" I ask Esmeralda and she nod. "I thought that he had regretted his actions and decide to start a new life." Esmeralda shakes her head. "Apparently not. He joined back the gang." I look at her in shock.
"Aaron, you need to talk to him and make him change his mind." I nod and give her something. Esmeralda stare at it and see it is a butterfly pendant necklace. "Allen wants me to give this to you to say sorry for letting you risking your life to help him before." She nod in thanks and go on her way while I go back to meet my friends.

"Hey Aaron. What did the woman told you just now?"Yako ask. I shrug and just mention for the others to follow me. They did until we go into an abandoned shed.
I lean against the wall and explain. "She told me about the victims killed by the target and the target's name." Yako is not convinced and try to corner me but I manage to avoid her questions.
"Anyway, let's hunt for the target." I say and try to give a confident smile but it comes out as a grimace after that I just stride out of the shed. Yako and the others look at each other in concern and run to catch up with me.
-----in the evening-----
I aim my gun at the target as Yako and the others surround the compound where the target stay in. I could hear Yako ordering the others to go into the compound but I ignore their voice as I remember what Esmeralda had said and grimace at the thought of killing my old friend from the gang. I take a deep breath and shake my head as I shoot the target just as he gives me a clear view of him. He tumble onto the floor, unconscious and Yako gives me a thumbs up. I grin at her but it turns into a grimace and Yako see that but say nothing. The others later join me and we all smile because we manage to eliminate the target before he could kill the other supernaturals who live peacefully here.
" Hey guys, let's celebrate the success of our mission!" Yako yells in celebration and all of.us except me cheers as we head to a bar to celebrate our success while I report to headquarters.

"Sir, we eliminated the target successfully." I report as the General nod.
"Good job Aaron. As expected of you. You may leave now." The General says and I nod and want to walk away but stop.
"Sir, why did you ask us to eliminate the supernaturals? You know that those supernaturals could lead to a new life if we show them how." I look at the General and demand his answer.
"Aaron, you know that if we let a rogue supernatural loose it will be a danger to the kingdom's security."
"Yes but....." the General stops me and smile gently.
"I know what you try to say but we cannot do anything about this. Yes we sometimes let the supernatural go because they are not that rogue but you must understand that the less people getting injured and causing social unrest the better." I nod and stride out of the door with the General looking wishfully at me.
"I wish that you could change the mindset of the people and the law of the kingdom Aaron." the General whispers and turn back to his work.
------meanwhile------
"C'mon Aragorn! Just one more sip!" Yako pouts at Aragon but he just don't allow Yako to drink too much as she is drunk.
"Fine. I'll complain to Commander....." Yako spots me running towards her and the others and smile drunkenly.
"Commander! You're here!" I just shake my head at how drunk Yako is and all the others sigh as well.
"Yako, how many times that I have to remind you not to drink too much?" I sigh and take the drink off her hand.
"Finally you are back to your normal self Aaron." Aragorn smile and the other nod. I sigh and start rubbing the back of my head sheepishly.
"Sorry. I have a lot of things going on in my mind right now." The others think that there are things that I don't want to say but they just shrug it off after seeing my expression.
"It is okay. Let's go back to our dorms." I nod gratefully and we go back to the dorms, laughing as we walk.
-----at my dorm room-----
I look at the time and realize that it is close to midnight as I sit on the deckchair, pondering on what the General had said before. I take out my bracelet and stare at the bird charm as I recall all the times that Allen and I had together. Suddenly tears seem to stream down my face as I think about Allen and the face of the old member of the gang that I had assasinated.
"Why is my life so tough? What should I do now? Why do we need to kill all those rogue supernaturals? Why?" As I ask this questions, I feel someone's hand on my shoulder and turn around. There stands Aragorn with a worried glance at me.
"Aaron? Are you okay? Why do you ask that all of a sudden?" I shake my head.
"It is nothing Aragorn. Just go to sleep." Aragorn won't budge.
"I can tell your thoughts are killing you Aaron. You don't act like that but I could see through that façade." I sigh and hold Aragorn's gaze.
"Fine. I am sick and tired of killing each and every one of those rogue supernaturals. Don't argue." I snap at Aragorn as he wants to protest." I just wish that we could have help them and not live with the guilt like I did. I still feel guilty you know, dealing with my past and Allen's death while trying to keep the facade of being okay but it still kills me you know. The screams of the good supernaturals as I kill them and the gunshot of death as I kill a rogue supernatural. All those memories are slowly killing me from inside out and there is nothing I can do about it. If only if I could change a single thing in this world that is so f**ked up and change my past, then....." I trail off and Aragorn hug me as tears that doesn't seem to stop stream down my face.
"I don't even know what I am fighting for and heck I don't even know who am I anymore." I whisper the last part to Aragorn and he hug me as I cry uncontrollably until I fall asleep. The last thing I register before I slip into the comfortable darkness of sleep is Aragorn whispering to me that I am Aaron and that I fight for the good.

"They don't know what's coming......" The lord laughs manically that the sound rise into the heavens.
