Chapter 7 - An unexpected encounter
John obliges to his wife’s request understanding the gravity of the situation and leaves immediately but he is met with an.. unexpected surprise
As John walked out of his home, he could not help to stop to think how Mr. Robertson had spoken to him. It seemed... suspicious. It seemed as though he was waiting for John’s call and for him to ask where they should meet up. It’s like..it’s like he knew exactly what to say. Deep embedded in his thoughts, John did not realise he was about to cross the main road.
“Taxi!” John called.
A yellow taxi appeared, though something about it seemed..odd. Yes, it was yellow with black stripes had the word -
TAXI
Written in bold letters - like any taxi in San Francisco. Though behind there was one quote that really surprised John. It said
ONLY THE STRONGEST WILL WIN
Hmm... that quote seemed...
“Wait!” John cried “From where did you get that quote?”
“The one in the back, sir? I wrote it.” The taxi driver replied
“Can’t be..”
“What do you mean ‘ can’t be’?”
“This is the carbon copy of the quote Mr. Robertson says. No one can have the exact same quote until they do not know the man and what he believes in.
“ You turned out to be smarter than I thought. Learning from your wife, ehh?”
Saying this, the taxi driver changed to...
AMELIE
John stood in bewilderment...
“I-I “ John stammered
“Wow, am I that horrible that you cannot say a word ?”
“I-I “ Recollecting his emotions, John continued
“Why are you after me and my wife?”
“Come in the taxi, I will tell you.”
“ And take a ticket to death town. No, Thank you.”
Fine then. I guess you will never know.”
As Amelie were to drive off, John begun to think. It was a play of... life and DEATH.
However, John NEEDS answers or else they die anyway. Better to take the risk.
“OK. “ John said.
“ Good. Come in. You would not even need to pay as..”
As soon as John sat in the car, black tentacles secure John into the seat and tie him up. JOHN CANNOT MOVE!
So many thoughts begin to rush through John’s mind.
IS SHE GONNA LET JOHN GO?
IS SHE AFTER HIS WIFE?
IS SHE GOING TO ASK HIM SOMETHING ABOUT MR. ROBERTSON TO GATHER MORE INFORMATION?
IS SHE GOING TO KILL HIM?
