“No, I am not ready for a mate. Even if I was I will not leave my pack or combine with another. Things are done a certain way in my pack. Every role is appreciated and respected.The way you treat your omegas is appalling.” I said and my mates eyes saddened.
”Combine Packs? What do you mean?” He said and I sighed.
”I’m an Alpha. I’m also a wolf.” I said and he laughed.
”Thats a good joke, but truly impossible.” He said and I was 2 seconds from punching him in the face.
“It’s true, Alpha. I’ve seen it and she has an Alpha Tone.” The guy from earlier days from somewhere behind us.
“That may be so, but why must thousands of years change because one girl can shift?” He said and I took a deep breath.
”I have a whole pack of girls who can shift. If any other females wish to join they are welcome to. Makes must be mates to one of my females to enter the pack.” I tell him.
“What is hindering you from combining our packs? If it is Status we may talk about it.” He said.
”Fine we will talk about it. Alpha Council, I accept the agreement. I want all females in the homes to join my pack. I will turn and train them.” I said and they all nodded in agreement.
”How well have you been trained, Mate?” My blasted mate asks.
”Wish to be the first Alpha male to spar with an Alpha female?” I give a cocky smirk.
”I only want to see how well these girls are being trained.” He said and I smiled. He cared about there level of training.
”Alpha’s where do you wish to witness the sparring match?” I asked.
”Outside will do.” My father said and I went outside happily.
”Girls, project this image to our Beta.” I commanded and they nodded.
“Begin.” An Alpha shouted.
I swung at my mate. He dodged. He went for my legs and I numbed briskly into the air. We went like this back and forth for a while. I went to punch his face as I dragged my leg to kick him. I landed a punch in the face. In the end we ended up being very matched.
”Wolf forms!” Someone shouted. I shifted immediately and went to attack my mate who was stunned. His split second of shock gave me the upper hand. I had him by the neck. This is how you make wolves submit. Father used to show us. The moment he whimpers, it means he’s giving in. I bite down harder and harder until he finally whimpers in submission. I dropped him to the ground where he bowed to me.
We both unshifted and all males turned around. Well except for my mate here.
”You look lovely. Give me a chance please? You’ve shown you are superior. If we do end up mating, we will have a similar fight as this and winner gets the Alpha title.” He said and I considered it.
”I’ll think about it. It’s time for me to head back to my pack. Preparations will be made immediately for the girls coming in.” I said and he pulled me in for a swift hug.
”Always so serious mate. I’ll come to visit your pack in two days. I’ll also bring my young females.” He said and I smiled.
”Great. Just follow my scent.” I say as I hand him one of my shirts.
I pull on clothes that the girls tossed to me. “Alpha. Beta said that there are many Alphas coming next week to greet us with there females. Not all the Alphas are happy.” Emma said. I knew what I needed to do no matter how infuriating it may be.
“When you come will you stay and support us.” I asked my mate.
”Of course.” He said and I really began to consider having a mate. He gave me a kiss on the cheek before leaving.
”You! Soldier. Emma come here.” I said and they both came to me.
”Emma do you truly not want a mate, or do you just want to stay in our pack. You may have both.” I informed her.
”If he’s willing to come with us, I’ll be his mate.” She said and I looked to him.
”Fine. Do you have a female who’s name was Remie?” He asked. I looked through my memories.
”Yes. She is now called Zeba. She is one of my generals.” I informed him.
“She’s my sister. I’m definitely going now.” He said and I smiled.
”Grab a bag and stuff it with clothes. You have 3 minutes.” I tell him and he rushed off.
”Will he be trained like the girls?” Emma asked.
”Yes he will. Your a healer but he will entered as an omega class. If his abilities prove to be better then he will rise up the ranks to the rank of a warrior.” I explained and she nodded.
”Everyone starts at the bottom.” She said and I smiled.
“I’m back, let’s go.” He said and shifted.
”Good going. Girls shift.” I said as they all shifted. I shifted right afterwards and we took off.
~Four Hours Later~
”Amri, call everyone to the square.” I said and she did so. I stood on the same stage where we took the blood oath.
“To start out. Everyone this is Thomas. He is Emma’s mate. Emma has decided to stay with us and her mate is joining our pack.” Everyone cheered.
”Next on the list. I found my mate.” I said and I could feel the panic of the pack.
”Don’t worry, if I accept him. The role of Alpha will come down to who wins a submission fight.” I said and they all collectively sighed.
”Finally, I made a deal with the Alpha council.” I said and everyone waited for me to explain.
”We are going to get many more recruits. It has been agreed that when you meet your mates you may choose where you wish to stay. I will gladly accept your mates into this pack. We will have a lot of visitors next week. I need all of my omegas front and center.” I said and all 250 omegas stood in front of me.
“I need you to prepare 150 rooms for our visitors by next week. Establish rotations.” I commanded.
”Yes, mam.” They all said.
“Be ready. Tomorrow, training is canceled. Everyone take the day off. Instead you will prepare your rooms. If you do meet your mates it’s best to look nice.” I said and some of the girls laughed. Others didn’t.
”With the time you have left. Feel free to rest.” I said and everyone cheered.
”Finally! Three years and we finally get a day off!” My general Skylar says and I laugh.
”Our numbers will be great enough soon where days off can be switched on and off between different groups. Speaking of I will need to appoint a few new general. My current generals. Bring your best warrior. Someone ready to teach.” I command.
I was brought 9 girls. I guess some are equally matched I picked the top 5. I then rearranged the groups around where they were each with girls they hadn’t had combative practice with. I gave them each 20 students. The remaining students were rearranged amongst the original 7 groups.
”Maybe I’ll meet my mate.” Amri said like young hopeful school girl would.
”Maybe you will. What will you decide if you do?” I asked with a daring look in my eye.
”I’m not sure If he’s apart of your mates pack, it’ll be easy we can just combine packs and you can beat him like you did today.” She said so nonchalantly.
”What if he’s not. Would you leave us? If he was a Beta, or an Alpha. You would have to choose him or the pack. It would be easier if he was a warrior that could join our pack. Let’s pray he’s not an Alpha or Beta.” I sigh.
”I’m retiring for the night.” I said and headed to my room. I’d see my mate a day or two from now. Would I be able to fight him if we got closer? Only time will tell.
