@decafsoda Author's note: Second-Person Point of View Mother Hulker is thinking -
You're zoning out. You need to focus.
A superhero called Siphonetic had been hypnotized by a villain named School Marm. Siphonetic was ordered to attack you, and that caused you to lose your voice.
For the School Marm show-down, you've brought along a mask that may neutralize her powers.
However, by lugging around this mask, you've lost your enhanced strength.
On the positive side you were able to meet your assistant, Aaron. He handed over an emergency bag full of twenties - a 10K stash worth of cash. You had to dip into this unofficial life savings.
You then gave Aaron a goofy wave bye-bye. The least you could do for making him an accessory.
Time to confront the spellbinding woman behind the attacks on you.

MEANWHILE...
Plastique Gal was on a rampage, trying to create the biggest impact she could to show her anger.
Her superpower was the ability to grow to 50-feet in height, and that is the form she assumed.
Plastique Gal could have taken a bus from where she and Mother Hulker had been holed up.
But Gal had been duped and tied up by Jennifer while they were at a home for basketball players.
She wanted everyone to know how she felt about being tricked by Jennifer, a.k.a. Mother Hulker.
She knew Jennifer had a reputation for anger, even a label like "Resting Jen Face," or some-such.
Gal trekked the 75-mile stretch from where they had been residing to Jennifer's hometown.
Footprints were impressed across farmers' fields between these cities as Plastique Gal walked.
Yeti, Sasquatch, Bigfoot, whatever obsession of pseudo-scientists, clearly had nothing on her.
She knew Jennifer would have went home and would have met up with Aaron, her assistant.
Once Plastique Gal neared Jennifer's hometown, she shrunk and tried to recall a specific hotel.
By sheer coincidence, then Gal heard through a window Aaron - Jennifer's assistant - singing.
Plastique Gal couldn't believe her luck. She did a "50-foot growth spurt" and saw Aaron directly.
Tall-version Gal grabbed Aaron, and threw him into a 6-foot cardboard box in a nearby garage.
"I'VE SEEN YOU WITH HER, YOU KNOW, AT THE BASKETBALL PLAYERS' HOUSE" Plastique Gal boomed.
"I can't believe this happening to me," said Aaron. "What do you want?"
"START DIALING UNTIL JENNIFER ANSWERS THAT BLACKBERRY PHONE OF HERS."
"I know," he said. "Her phone practically makes her a Luddite. What if I don't do as you order?"
"SOONER OR LATER, I WON'T BE ABLE TO KEEP THIS POSITION, WITH MY FOOT HOVERING OVER THE CARDBOARD BOX I THREW YOU INTO. I'M NOT REALLY A SUPERHERO, AND I'M NOT REALLY A SUPERVILLAIN. I'M A GIANTESS WITH A GALLOWS SENSE OF HUMOR THAT CAN MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE ROADKILL."
Aaron's lip quivered. "I keep getting her voicemail. What happens to me?"
"TELL ME EVERYTHING YOU KNOW ABOUT JENNIFER AND HER LITTLE ADVENTURES."
"Unfortunately, nothing about her is little."
