Eyes like silver jewels

            Fill me with satin

                        Lay me to sleep

                                    In the cotton softness

                                                 Of clouds floating by.

Wrists like broken guitar string

            Heavens fire filling turquoise veins

                                              Earthbound yearnings

                                                          Mind escaped beauty

                                                                       Of ink stained bedsheets.

Lips like fallen rosebuds

                  Ripped from safety

                         Before comfort filled the air

                                    Unknowing of shallow waters

                                                Tasting only the salt of tears.

Smile like joy of a babies laughter

                                          Innocently barren

                                            Weights pulling the edges downward

                                                              Secrets hidden in a foreign tongue

                                                                            Of mothers love left abandoned

Teeth like pearls of riverbeds

            Love me till the day you die

                        Lock up secrets in a enamel cage

                                    Scream until your voices runs out

                                                And fill the air with rotten lies.
