The song of early birds pierced my ears,

Like an angry alarm clock

Punishing me for the many years

Of all my ugliness that sucked.

I squint as I open my eyes to see,

Dew drops wetting my dirty face,

Mist slowly dispersing with the breeze,

Taking with it debris in gentle pace.

The lofty trees stood tall like giants,

Its branches spreading out like canopy,

Underneath it i have great reliance

During the dark, whenever I lay thankfully.

Squeals and quiet moaning,

And the smell of rain lingering in the air,

All these gives me hope that atleast I'm living

Even though the sound of the wild is all I could hear.
