Later in the day, Carolyn sits in her office looking through her folders full of her hitmen.
"I might save him for later." She thought. She looks at one folder and picks it up to look into it.
"Cassie, a secret assassin, huh?" Carolyn said. "That's perfect. Let me give her a call." She laughs. Someone knocks on the door. Carolyn stops laughing, scurries to put her folders away.
"Come in!"
Her assistant comes in, "Ma'am, is everything okay?"
"Everything is going okay, why?"
"Oh." she chuckles, "Well someone is here waiting for you."
"Who is it?" Carolyn asked. "Because, I have nothing scheduled for anyone to come at this hour?"
A breeze of wind blows open the doors. Rose petals fly in the room. Once the petals land on the floor, the petals start to glow and form into a female body. Carolyn stands up.
"I hope I'm in the right place and not disturbing anyone?" The woman said, Carolyn walks around her desk grabbing her clutch and her keys.
"Oh no no, you're not disturbing anyone." Carolyn said, walking out of the door with the woman. Her assistant looks at them.
"Ma'am?"
"I'll be back. Going out to lunch."
Carolyn disappears with the woman. The assistant closes the door to Carolyn's office behind her and sits at her desk. Carolyn and the lady appear outside of city hall.
"What made you decide to come to city hall?"
"I had a feeling that you might need me, Madame."
Carolyn's eyes widened.
"I did..." Carolyn thought to herself. She had a vision about her looking back at Cassie's file.
"Are you?"
"Cassie? Yes, Madame."
"No wonder why I felt a draft earlier." Carolyn chuckles. Cassie chuckles too.
"Sorry about that."
"You're good. But back to business. I'm glad that you came because two of my guys got arrested this morning in Henderson." Carolyn said. "The talk of the town has started to grow over at the Bellagio and Michele wants to find and kill the perpetrator that started the conversation."
"What's the conversation about and who should I look for?" Cassie asks. Carolyn goes on her phone and pulls up the tweet and shows it to her. Cassie looks at the person's profile picture. Her eyes glow to lock her target in.
"I got my target locked in." Cassie says. Carolyn smirks.
"Good." She laughs. "Good luck."
The wind starts to blow, the rose petals blow around Cassie, and she disappears in thin air.
Meanwhile at the strip, A woman with long brown hair sits outside the Paris hotel restaurant drinking her water.
"Alyssa!" an unknown voice appeared. Alyssa turns around and sees her fiance running towards her.
"Brian, what are you doing and why are you running?!"
"I got tickets to go up the Eiffel tower."
"Aww Brian you shouldn't have." Alyssa said. "But what if something happens while we are up there?"
"I don't think anything will happen to us and anyone up there."
"Okay. you know I just got out of the hospital so I need to take it easy, you know."
"I know, don't worry." Brian brushes off and walks away inside the restaurant. Alyssa sighs and smiles and follows him inside. The wind starts to blow towards the strip. Alyssa felt a draft of wind driving up her body before heading inside. She stops to look around. Rose petals fall onto the tables. Alyssa walks back to her table and picks up the rose petal on the table. She sees a trail of rose petals on the sidewalk.
"Where did these petals come from?" Alyssa thought. She clenches the petal in her hand and jumps over the railing to follow the trail of rose petals on the table.
A group of people walk inside one of the Bellagio conference room. The people inside are muttering and talking before the presentation starts. The lights dim in the room, a rose petal appear on the floor in the room. A silhouette of cassie appears. The host walks up to the podium; tapping on the microphone to get the audience's attention.
"Thank you everyone for joining my panel, I want to thank my assistant Sheriff McHalle and my boss, Sheriff Lombardo for making this press conference."
The silhouette opens her eyes and disappears into the darkness. The criminal investigator switches to the next slide of the presentation. Cassie pulls out a rose and blows a melatonin scent in the air. One of the attendees smelled the scent.
"Hm... that smells nic-" She fainted. The whole room falls into a deep sleep except for the investigator. He looks up and sees everyone fainted in the room.
"What's going on?" He thought. He looks around and grabs his gun. "LVMPD! Show yourself!"
The silhouette drops down from the shadows with her sword. She starts running towards him and slices his gun in his hands. His eyes widen before the shadow hits him in the stomach hard. He drops onto the stage floor. The silhouette walks out of the shadows, revealing herself. The investigator slides himself back away from her.
"W-who are you?" He said. Cassie walks towards him, raising her sword at him.
"Your worst nightmare." Cassie said.
Alyssa finds the last petal of the rose trail leading to a conference room door. She looks through the door. She sees the investigator sliding away from Cassie.
"Holy shit." Alyssa whispered, she opened the door and burst in the room. "Stop!"
Cassie and the investigator look at her running in.
"Shit." Cassie said. Alyssa gets on stage helping the investigator get up.
"What are you doing, Cassie?!"
"None of your business, brunette." She rests her sword on her shoulders. "Now move."
"Your gonna have to get through me first if you want to mess with him"
Alyssa raises her fist to get into a fighting position. Cassie lifts her sword and points it at Alyssa.
"I want to see you try fighting someone with a sword." Cassie chuckles. Alyssa runs towards Cassie. She throws a punch towards her, Cassie blocks the punch and swings her sword at Alyssa. She flips over the sword and kicks it away from her. Alyssa flips and kicks Cassie's face, she lands on her hands and kicks Cassie's legs. She falls off stage onto the ground. Alyssa lands on the floor of the stage, she clenches the floor, sparking her fire powers on her hands. Cassie stands up, wiping the blood off her mouth. She gets into a fighting position. Alyssa starts running towards her jumping off the stage. Alyssa and Cassie start throwing punches at each other, blocking each punch all together. Alyssa kicks her. Cassie dodges her kick and grabs her leg. Alyssa jumps and kicks her face with her other leg. She lets go of Alyssa's leg and covers her face. Alyssa fires punches at Cassie's stomach and face again. The fire sparks more and punches her again, sending Cassie flying towards the wall, crashing into it. Alyssa's fire powers stop sparking on her hands. Cassie gets off of the wall, struggling to stand up.
"Why are you doing this Cassie?" Alyssa asks. "Are you working for Carolyn's mafia?"
"What are you talking about?"
"Why did you come here and kill the investigator during a press conference?"
"Look shortie, you might want to leave before you get hurt yourself. Let me do my job."
"No."
Cassie stares at her angrily. "What?"
"I said no." Alyssa said. Cassie laughs and walks towards Alyssa.
"Look. You may have won this round," she touches Alyssa's shoulder, smirking. "But you haven't won yet."
"What?"
"Turn around"
Alyssa turns around and sees the investigator dead on the ground. Her eyes widened.
"W-What?! HOW?!"
"The scent of my rose is wearing off into a deadly scent to my targets. You're lucky you aren't my target then you would be dead too." Cassie walks off.
"THAT'S IT!" Alyssa exclaimed, breaking the floor around her. Fire starts to spark around her hands. Her eyes turn red. "You and your friends are destroying Las Vegas and I had enough with your guys' destruction around town!"
"If you had enough then why don't you try stopping me?" Cassie said grabbing her sword, "You aren't going to beat me anyway?
Alyssa screams, breaking the lights and cracking the walls around her. The fire spreads up around her body, launching herself towards Cassie, punching her towards the walls of other conference rooms at the Bellagio. Alyssa kicks her towards Caesar's Palace, crashing into the hotel buildings. Cassie's eyes turn white, she looks up at the sky. Noticing the sun going down over in the west.
"Give it up, Deitsch!" Cassie yelled. "Once the moon rises up, it's over!"
Alyssa looks up at the sky looking at the sun going down in the mountains. The sky gets dark with blue and orange streaks mixing in.
"Fuck..." Alyssa said. "You can't beat a person that has powers connected to the moon."
Alyssa walks back in the room. A bright light shines on a metal piece next to Alyssa. She turns and looks at the shiny metal sword on the table.
"Where did this sword come from?"
She walks up to the sword of the table. Alyssa looks at the sword.
"This looks nice. This kinda reminds me of-"
"Cloud's sword from Final Fantasy 7?"
Alyssa looks up and sees a cat. She jumped.
"Dr. Feinberg?!" Alyssa exclaims. "You can talk?!"
"No time. Quick! Grab this sword and transform into your hero form!"
"What should I say to transform?!"
"Just say, 'Vegas Fire Transformation!"
Alyssa grabs the sword and points it towards the front wall. "Vegas Fire Transformation!"
The sword glows and flames surround the sword running up her arms and body. She transforms into a red crop tank top with green shorts with adventure gear on as her hero form.
"Fearless Ali... Good Luck!" Peyton said. Cassie runs towards Alyssa and clashes her sword at her. Alyssa grabs her sword and clashes with her.
"Give it up, Deitsch. The sun is about to set and you will crumble to dust once the moon comes out tonight."
"My ass." Alyssa said. Fire sparks around her sword. "FIRE EXPLOSION!"
The fire from her sword bursts into a big explosion, sending Cassie and Alyssa away from each other. Alyssa crashes into the wall, Cassie crashes outside, hitting Caeser's Palace hotel buildings again. The room became engulfed in flames.
"No no no!" Alyssa said, getting up slowly from the wall. She walks out of the broken wall. She looks around, the sky gets darker around her.
"Cassie! You had enough?!"
Cassie didn't respond. Alyssa smiles. "Good."
Alyssa walks away. The firefighters arrived at the building putting out the fire. She gets to the corner, her eyes start to blur out.
"Huh?"
She gasps for air as she walks, losing balance. Alyssa hears a person laughing.
"W-who's t-there..."
Cassie appears choking Alyssa with her rose whip. "Did you think I would give up with you?"
Alyssa tears up from being choked. She tries pulling the whip off her neck. An shiny cat cane appears in the distance, hitting Cassie in the face. Alyssa drops on the ground, gasping for air. Eyes glow in the shadows like cats eyes. The silhouettes drop down onto the ground. Helping Alyssa up.
"Are you okay?"
Alyssa looks up and sees cat ears on Jason and Azenith's head. She screams.
"What the?! The fuck are you guys?!"
"Ali! Ali! It's okay, it's Fein Cat!" Jason said.
"I don't know anyone that has a name like that!" Alyssa said, punching Jason in the stomach.
"Hey ouch!" He said, "We just came out of a fight earlier."
"So did I!"
"We understand, Calm down, it's okay." Azenith said.
Alyssa looks at Azenith. Her mouth turns into a frown. She looks at her with a disbelieving face.
"What the hell do you mean 'Calm down'?" Alyssa said. "You don't even know what I just went through?!"
"I don't but-"
"Then you have no right telling me to calm down!"
Alyssa pushes Azenith away angrily and walks away back to the Paris Hotel. Azenith looks at her confused.
"What...just happened?"
"That was weird." Jason said.
"You think?" Azenith said. "And all I said is to 'Calm down' because she punched you."
"It's okay. She's playful like that." Jason said. Azenith hits Jason's arm.
"Ow."
