I found my account and started reading through all my stuff.

My heart was pounding but I didn't dare show it.
The knife curled in my hands, warm blood screeching on my long, black hoodie. I had to get out of there. Ian knew how much I hated the last process: burying the body.
I sprinted out of the scene like a cheetah cub running for its life from a lion. I remembered Kaden telling us to trust the path, even when it was dark. Never go for a group alone. Luckily, I was one of the top students in ACS, or Assassins Crime School, so taking out one person from the enemy was simple. Most of the time.
We were ranked third for top crime school. Third. After two idiots, Ethan and Beck, shot two members of the Leopard Pack, we earned a penalty and couldn't go on any missions for an entire week. From high-streak second to lowlife third.
We were the Assassins. And I'm Jenice, who just finished part of the mission.

I inhaled through my mouth and put on a mask. It smelled like shit.
Please don't make a sound, I beg his body. But he was so freaking heavy, and it took forever.
"Who's there?" someone yelled. I gasped silently. I was holding his leg. Don't drop him, don't drop him...
"I swear to God, if you don't come out right now, I'ma get the rest of my crew and beat you ourselves."
I dropped his leg. "I'm here," I squeaked.
"Which gang?"
"The..." God, who's not the Black Widow's enemies? Technically almost everyone, because they're afraid to be on their bad side. "The Blood Wolves."
I heard a laugh. "Funny. There are no girls in that gang." I heard footsteps come closer. "You're a girl, aren't you?"
"Uh...No?" I cleared my throat but I wasn't brave enough. "Fine. I am."
