I always love a good mystery. Whether it be Nancy Drew or Sherlock Holmes, I’ve loved mysteries.
So my challenge for you all is to write a good mystery using one of the prompts below:
-Looking through old family pictures from generations back, you notice that in every one there’s the same cat. With the same color and clipped ear. And that cat is sitting on your lap right now.
-You go to a party one day when the lights short out. When they come back on, someone is dead. You follow a series of clues and interview different people at the party until you find out whodunnit.
-20 years after your daughter has gone missing, a detective comes to your house to reopen the case. In the end, the detective reveals she’s your daughter.
Bonus points:
-The cat turns out to be evil
-The person you find out killed the party guest isn’t the real killer but someone who’s seemed innocent the whole time
-Your daughter isn’t a real detective but actually a serial killer and tries to kill you
Rules:
-No word limit! Write as little or as much as you want!
-Violence and blood allowed, just put TW
-Cussing is allowed, just keep it minimal please
-No sexual content
-Make sure you add those plot twists!
-Have fun!
Have a good day and remember to love each other always!
