Jungkook’s POV
I was up in the early morning to find my sister gone. I got a little panicky so I called up the members.
“Maybe your sister is at the shop? Wanna go check?” Suga asks me. “Only she has the keys. What if she doesn’t let us in?” Jhope points out.
“She’s been zoning out for these 2 days after the incident though. I’m very worried.” I said scratching my head.
“How about we try going to the cafe and see if we can find her there?” RM suggests. “Good idea. We can go find her and bring her back before the CEO finds out!” V agrees adding on.
We meet up and went to the cafe, Junghwa is indeed there like what the members said. She looks rather tired and lost as she brings out the food to I believe doing quality control.
“Should we snap her out? She looks like she’s in a trance” Jin suggests to us quietly. “You do it then since you suggest” Suga and Jhope tells him softly.
“What the-“ RM facepalmed at the two which lead to the other members debating each other a hot mess that I decided to walk towards my sister to ‘snap her out’ myself.
After all, nothing’s better off than family doing the job of helping.
“Junghwa. You there?” I patted her head and she looks at me. “Yes I’m there.” She softly nods her head, breaking the cocoa beans herself with her fingers.
“Oh dear, the quality is off the charts now…” She sighs to herself in frustration rubbing the nibs on another plate. “It looks fine though.” I said scratching my head
“When the nibs are bad, the powder is bad, the final product will be as bad. Everything starts from little details.” Junghwa explains as another bean ends up getting her to put away the whole cocoa beans bowl.
“I will sort them out another day.” She says to me putting the beans away. Jimin kindly yet quietly helps her sort out everything else. “Do you think Jimin has feelings for Jen?” V asks me out of the blue.
“Sorry but I in no mood talking about that right now.” I tell him. He nods his head understanding. Everything was soon done and we took Junghwa back.
I made Junghwa some chocolate milk and food for her to eat. She just quietly drink and eat. I can’t help sighing as I look at her being this withdrawn.
“Do you want some movies?” I asked her. She shook her head, just focused on eating and drinking up what I have cooked for her.
She finished eating after a while and just went to sleep. “It’s the first time I’ve seen her like this.” I said to the members a little worried yet softly after I closed the door so she can have a good sleep.
“Could she be depressed?” Suga suggests. “Or should we ask Bora and Inhye?” Jhope suggests as well that got Suga stuffing a doughnut in his mouth. “You fool! Definitely not 5 in the morning.” Suga tells him.
“Definitely she’s not depressed. If she is, she might close down the shop in a week of opening.” Jimin says. “You seems knowing her very well.” V looks at him teasingly.
“Come on its obvious.” Jimin defends himself telling V. “What should we do?” I ask. “We can send her to Counsellor Ho. Most of us are seeing her tomorrow after all.” Jimin suggests.
“Let me call the CEO about that.” RM says going to the balcony to answer the call. “This should work I believe.” Suga says. “What do you guys think?” He then asks us all.
“Jen isnt under bighit. Its up to her not our ceo.” I remind them. After a small discussion amongst us, RM comes back in.
“The CEO is fine with it but he wants us to talk to Jen about it cause he says Jen is most likely won’t agree to it if it come from his mouth.” RM sighs telling us
“I will do it. I’m family.” I tell them. “Best candidate~” Jhope says in a cheeky manner to me.
-The Next Day-
It was a few hours before the appointments. Junghwa is up watching some show in her phone on her bed.
“Feeling better?” I asked her. She nods her head. “Good.” I say. “Do you want to come with us today?” I asked her. “Where are you guys going?” She asks me.
“The counselling centre working with the company.” I said. “There’s many new stuff there you can play with.” I added on.
She thinks and nods her head. She gets up and gets ready. I also do the same and we are soon at the centre with the rest of the members.
“So she agreed?” RM asks me as Junghwa looks at the signboard. I nodded my head. “At least there’s some documentary TV and blocks that I know she will like.” I said.
“Good.” He says. Counsellor Ho soon comes out greeting us.
“Hello there boys~” She says with a smile. “Hello.” We smile. She soon noticed Junghwa who just wave her hand at her.
“Did the company add a new member?” She asks us quietly. “No. She is my sister” i say. “Junghwa. Come say hi to Counsellor Ho” I called her over.
She dropped her blocks and said hello to Counsellor Ho. “What a shy one” Counsellor Ho giggles before asking the usual “Who to go first”.
Jin ends up going first. “Hahahaha! Good one!” Jhope laughs at Suga. Suga just give him a chuckle before joining Junghwa playing the toy blocks.
“Thank you for the other day though” I thanked Jimin for the other day he brought me back when I got drunk from drinking with him, V and RM
“No worries.” He says. “But really, are you having feelings for Junghwa?” I then asked him.
“Maybe maybe not.” He giggles. “If you are be nice.” I warn him. “I’m nice! When am I never nice?” He just giggles either way.
Soon after Jin and Suga, it was my turn. “Do you want Junghwa to go in?” Counsellor Ho asks me.
“Only if she wants to go in. I cant force her if she doesnt want to.” I say. I went to ask Junghwa.
She shook her head, not wanting to go in cause she’s happily playing with the blocks so I went in with Counsellor Ho.
“So how’s everything?” She asks me the moment she closes the door and I sat down. “Over pushing yourself again?” She asks me again and I shook my head shyly, she still remembers about that one.
“Good. What else has been going on?” She asks. “My sister.” I answered.
“Is she studying?” She asks me. “She just graduated from high school and came back from the United States to start her mini cafe.” I explained.
“How old is your sister?” She then asks me. “19 turning 20 this year.” I answered
“Thats good.” She says. “She was working as a FBI informant also to support herself.” I added on.
“That’s cool to hear.” She says. “But recently, after some fiasco happening at the cafe, the CEO tells her and her co workers to get the week off but for some time now, she either gets upset over little things in her cafe or just looks tired.” I then explained to her what happened
“Is the ceo her boss?” She asks. I shook my head. “She owns the cafe but has the place brought from the CEO. The CEO will pop by here and there from what I’ve heard.” I tell her
“So he rented it out to her?” She asks. I nodded my head. “Something like that. I’m not aware of any other details.” I answered
“Because he is the person renting it out he has no control over your sister’s buiness. She is the boss. He isnt” the counsellor tells me.
“True.” I nodded my head agreeing with her. “Does she look stress to you here and there?” She then asks me. “I am not sure. She is naturally shy and doesn’t talk much.” I scratched my head answering
“Then i suggest that you suggust to her to see a doctor.” She says. “Based on what you have told me, she is most likely for now, burnt out.” She continues.
“But a doctor needs to check it over.” She says. “I know and I will get her to see a doctor.” I said nodding my head
“Good.” She says. “So what should I do about my sister for the time being?” I asked her.
“Maintain communication with her when you’re free, engage her in some more physical activities as in sports.” She advises me. After a little while, I was done and came out to pull RM in.
“Endgames sounds good.” Junghwa tells Suga. Suga nods, agreeing. “What are you talking about?” I asked Suga and my sister. “I was suggesting some more movies to Junghwa that she can watch.” Suga explains.
“Can we watch Endgame tonight please?” My sister then asks. I nod. “Let’s do it then!” I ruffled her hair which got her rarely smiling out open
Soon we all are finished and headed back to my apartment. Junghwa was showing RM the display of books she has gotten while Suga walks up to me.
“Are you okay?” He asks me. I nod, “yeah. Why?” I ask. “You seemed a little different to me.” He says. “Just thinking about what Counsellor Ho tells me earlier on.” I said with a smile
“And she said?” He asks. “She tells me Junghwa might be burnt out for now and she advises me to take her to a doctor, in the meanwhile, just maintain communication with her when I have time and also find some sports she can engage in.” I explained to him what the counsellor tells me
“Ah okay.” He says. Soon after chatting a little, we joined the rest for lunch and dinner before watching Endgame
