this is an old fanfiction story I wrote, and I decided to go ahead and post it here as it was posted on fanfiction.net. This was written back in 2012 so it isn't great. I deleted all my stories from my fanfiction account, but this was the only one I wanted to keep.

Joey has kept the abuse he has been suffering at the hands of his father. When his friends find out what is going on, he has a choice, tell them everything, or save his sister, who he has vowed to protect no matter what. How can he save serenity if he doesn't save himself.
